had one at the burlington bristol bridge a bit ago. gloucester city, 42 southbound overnight the ramp was closed for construction, but it has reopened. >> breaking this morning, a gunman shot a man trying to get home overnight in north philadelphia. this happened at 2:00 a.m. at north american and west cambria street. the 54-year-old victim was running from the suspect. he was shot in the back and the leg. police heard the gunshots an found the victim on the streets where he cried out for help. investigators are looking at surveillance cameras at a nearby charter school to see if that will offer clues on the shooter's identity. there was a gun fight on a city street. the gun fight happened in front
of an opened day care. katherine scott hats more. >> reporter: good morning, tam, police are searching for two of the gunmen it happened in front of the day care. there was a close call for a driver who happened to be coming through and caught in the crossfire. let's go to video where you can see a bullet hole in the windshield of that vehicle as that man was coming home from work and caught in the crossfire in north philadelphia last night. the shootout happened around 7:00 p.m. two grooms of four young males were fighting at 20th and cecil b. more when three of them pulled out guns and starting pointed shooting. an officer on duty happened to pull up when the gunfire started and captured one of the gunman. they missed an open day care nearby. as for the driver he was relieved his two children were
not sitting in the back seat. >> what if nigh kids were in the back seat, it clearly went in the back seat of the car. we could be talking about a whole other situation right now. >> we're live at central detectives, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> new this morning, an apparent case of road rage ran a driver off they highway in berks county. a woman told police she was driving on 422 when another driver cut her off and slammed on his breaks. that caused her to lose control and spin off the highway. her car slammed into a ditch and rolled over 6 times. the woman managed to escape the crash with minor injuries. police say the driver who caused the crash drove away in a black for the pick up truck. happening today, monsignor william lynn will be back in court to get another court date.
