people are posting explosion on social media. massive flames lighting up the night sky before midnight. the blaze is under control, but no word on what led to a deserve deserve -- devastating scene. a man was shot and killed on germantown avenue before 11:00 p.m. officers got to the scene to find a 46-year-old man on the street suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach. officers spotted a man with a gun running from the scene. >> the officers went on foot pursuit, they made the arrest, they recovered the weapon after the suspect threw it in bushes. >> the victim was rushed to the hospital, but later died. investigators plan to check surveillance cameras from a philadelphia housing authority building and nearby business. >> new on "action news," an armed lancaster county threatened two nurses and stormed off with his girlfriend

and is on the run this morning. he snatched his girlfriend on tuesday, he threatened to absolute the nurses if they didn't cooperate. authorities is not sure if buzzard who is being treated for bipolar disorder went willing. drivers and rescue crews will resume looking for a man who disappeared in the schuylkill river this morning. he was last seen at the 30th street chestnut street bridge. two men dove in to help him, rescue crews pulled them out of the water. both of them are okay. it's bad enough to see people driving with one hand and texting with the other. a local couple watched a woman hit the schuylkill expressway at rush hour, texting with her hands and driving with her feet. they caught the whole thing on
