12:24 pm
meteorologist, david murphy, with a check of the accuweather forecast, the muggies are sticking around. >> reporter: they are. points south especially it's on the sticky side today. as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan we are dry and heading outside to the beach. cape may, new jersey, live on sky 6 and there are folks enjoying the water to a degree and hopefully they are all swimming next to the lifeguards and listening to the whistles, we have continuing problems at the shore today and through the weekend, you see the heavy surf on the beach and rip currents. 85 is your current temperature. the dew point slipped to 63 but other areas mid to upper 60s and other spots in the 70s. that is the range where we say it's pretty sticky out there. wins of 8 miles per hour. 83 in allentown and everyone within the range in most of the region. satellite shows you an increase in cloud cover the farther north
