next up quick week, sunday afternoon -- steelers here, uh-oh. >> could be a rougher game. we'll see how they he do. but they're looking good. >> battle of pennsylvania on sunday right here. the weather looks great for that game, too. >> good. >> storm tracker6 live double scan right now and we are dry as we take a look outside a couple of areas looking at some fog mainly up in the northern suburbs. looks like there might be a little bit trying to settle down over northeast philadelphia and parts of south jersey there in camden county but most of that cloud cover low but not low enough to actually be considered fog. as we take a look outside, we are looking at clouds across most of the region, maybe a few more breaks north and west. 69 degrees currently is your temperature. and the dewpoint is at 66 sliding just a little bit but still in the mid 60's which is an indication of at least moderately humid air. winds are light at 5 miles per hour. in terms of cloud cover and rain, well, cloud cover you can see is going to be thinner the farther north you go and the farther away you get from
the ocean front. we still have a stalled frontal boundary down to our south that's kicking up some coastal clouds. philadelphia kind of in between as we go through the afternoon. and in south jersey there's a couple of showers popping up here or there, certainly not a washout. if you see he something it will be fairly brief. and most of that well south of the i-95 corridor. again, there could be some sunny breaks in through here but the more sun is going to be up to the north and west and the farther south and east you go he across the region today the less sun you'll see. 69 degrees by 8 o'clock, 75 by 10 o'clock. we'll go with clouds and some sun today in philadelphia. ly 79 by noon and then 83 by three he clock with there high of 84 rather late in the afternoon probably around 3:30 or 4 o'clock the way things are looking now. high temperatures across the region, mid 80's up in philadelphia, trenton, wilmington, allentown, upper 80's in reading, 80 on the nose in millville and if you're down at the shore it looks like the mid to upper 70's. headed to the ball game tonight. not a bad night. just a little bit humid. looks like it will be dry at the ballpark for the phillies and white sox in for a rare
visit. 78 degrees in the first pitch and 75 degrees for the ninth inning. and then tomorrow high pressure builds in and we warm up a couple of degrees. we got a high of 86 which is 10 above average. we will generally see more sun tomorrow than we're seeing today. down the shore it might still be a little cloudy at times but generally speaking improvement and it looks like we maintain that pattern for app couple of days. now to the tropics two storms we're looking at tropical depression number 13 has just formed this morning. tropical storm karl has been around since late last week and karl still looks like it's going to be up in the vicinity of bermuda this weekend. the change to this track is that it wants to cut a little bit over toward the east of bermuda and that could be good news if that trend continues the brunt of the storm would be to the east and not so much on top of bermuda itself. this doesn't look like a great time to be in bermuda. 84 is today's high clouds and sun a shower possible mainly over to the east of philadelphia. not as humid tomorrow 86 and then autumn arrives thursday morning, 86 in the afternoon
though feeling like summer. and then friday 88. maybe a little more humid on friday. saturday clouds and sundown to 82 for a high. a shower mainly in the morning the way things look now, so hopefully dry for temple's homecoming game at lincoln financial field. sunday is going to feel like football weather breezy and cooler, a lot of sunshine for the eagles and 72 for a high. >> all right, thank you david. it is now 6:41. and shots fired. police kill an unarmed father of four. newly released video is raising serious questions about this use of deadly force. >> in the cafeteria a server hangs up her hair net over something called lunch shaming. karen. >> a little slow on 42 northbound near the new jersey turnpike. slow from coles road to route 55. we've got an accident on the schuylkill with a jam there and a big accident in montgomery county. all the latest details coming right up. >> ♪
