change is coming. >> turn to david murphy and karen rogers for weather and traffic, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, everybody, we're off to a cloudy start in some areas, some of you might see early sunshine and we're keeping our eyes on sprinkles and spotty showers out to harrisburg and gettysburg some of it may drive to the east in the morning commute. cloud cover is a mixed bag. if you're down in delaware and south jersey you'll start out with sunshine, overall we'll have cloudy skies and slight chance of a shower popping through in northern areas. 65 dry in the city. 61 in allentown. 66 in wilmington, 62 in trenton and millville. a little bit cooler this morning than the last couple of mornings, but not bad. as we roll through the day we're expecting a warm afternoon, mostly cloudy skies overall, in the 60s up through 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. noon, 71. the high today will be the
77-degree reading at 3:00 p.m. before we dip back to 72 at 6:00 p.m. if we manage to get sun in play we might see the number rise a bit. if we hit 80 it will tie another record, we've been talking about that for a long time. looks like we'll cool down for the weekend, i'll have details coming up. >> reporter: yesterday was summer, today is closer to spring, but we're still not in fall. something like that. looking outside, this is i-95 past cottman, southbound traffic heading thwart center city no delays, construction blocking all lanes for a while, things looking good on i-95. no big issues, overall we're seeing speeds in the 50s on i-95 that 195 is off i-95. schuylkill expressway looking good, blue route no issues. we have fire between 10th and 11th and closures between
christian and carpenter. stick to the other numbered streets. let's check the blue route, blue route looking good, southbound traffic heading toward i-95. the one issue on 422 we have a roving work crew moving around eastbound toward royersford and 202 blocking the left lane. >> last night in las vegas will be the last time hillary clinton will get to be face-to-face and go toe to toe. they duked it out an trade abortion and guns and whether the loser should concede. >> katherine scott is live with more from the satellite center with more on the final fight. >> reporter: it was a final fight on the debate stage. the two did trade personal attacks, but there was a renewed focus on the issues. the final debate at the start, hillary clinton and donald trump did not shake handles.
on the issues they clashed repeated. they talked immigration. >> when it comes to the wall, he talks about building, he went to mexico and didn't raise it, he choked. >> we either have a country or we don't. >> reporter: for clinton the revelations in hacked e-mails that show her striking different tones in private than in public on wall street banks and trade. >> what's important about wikileaks is that the russian government has engaged in espionage against americans. >> reporter: trump again denied allegations of sexual assault. >> i didn't know any of these women i think they either want fame or her campaign did it. >> reporter: in recent days trump igd in -- talked about a g election. after the debate when pressed.
kellyanne conway said trump would accept the results in november unless there was evidence of widespread issues. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> our jim gardner will host the final live debate or for the pennsylvania senate race sends us your questions for pat toomey and katie mcginty, that debate will be live from temple university on monday night at 7:00 p.m. on 6abc. 5:05. crews will attempt to remove a plane that crashed into a yard in camden county yesterday. two men were injured when the small plane crashed in lindenwald. residents say the sounded like a trash truck as the barreled down on linden avenue. no one on the ground was injured no word on the conditions of the occupants.
>> a man is behind bars charged with making a bomb threat against a montgomery county school. 27-year-old made a threat against east norton middle school on monday. west faces terrific threat charges along with -- terroristic threat charges along with using weapons of mass destruction. philadelphia police identified a man they fired at on tuesday night as 22-year-old mike marcinat. as they approached the car he he jumped out with a gun in his waistband. he shot back while running from the scene and eventually tossed the stolen 9-millimeter gun along chew avenue. he is under arrest and the officers are on administrative leave. we're hoping to get newer information about a shooting
involving two philadelphia police officers. police fired on the man after he refused to drop his rifle mayfair before 6:00 a.m. this began with a domestic call. police found a 55-year-old man at the rifle he ignored commands to put the rifle and enpointed it at them. they shot the man in the arm. he is expected to be okay. new jersey lawmakers expected to give themselves subpoena power into the investigation in the deadly train crash in hoboken. if approved they could get train officials to testify and supply documents. a senate oversight panel hearing on the crash is set for tomorrow. >> time turn to accuweather we enjoyed a run of warm days, but
we're going to have a change. >> reporter: we'll go down a little bit, we'll be in the 70s and tomorrow and the weekend, big change there. storm tracker 6 live double scan, we're mainly dry out near harrisburg, we have a blip near pottsville, that will miss us. we'll have a shower in the morning commute and up until lunchtime. as we look outside, we have a mix of clouds with some breaks over the philadelphia area right now including the platt bridge. some of you will see more sun than others early and i think we transition to mostly cloudy skies in the day. 65 degrees is the temperature in philadelphia. not as mild as yesterday, but that's close to today's average high. we're running on the mild side for this time of the year this morning. 61 in allentown. 62 in reading. 66 in wilmington, 62 in millville. too much tracker 6 shows you the early sun gives way to gathering clouds as we go past 9:00 a.m. to noon, most of the showers is
in the northern and western suburbs, they could pop up elsewhere. if we get a break in the clouds and get sun it might bump you are numbers up in the forecast. generally speaking we'll get clouds to the north an sun to the south. 71 for the lehigh valley. cloudy, not as warm as yesterday, but pleasant. down the shore we'll get to 73. a few degrees below yesterday, clouds and sun at the shore. pleasant conditions, the farther south you are through the region, the better chance you have of seeing the sun. overall mostly cloudy in philadelphia. if we manage to break out a little additional sun we'll pop up over 77. we'll call it over 77. we have to allow for a spotty shower, most of the day is dry. if we get up above 77 we're talking about another record high because the record is just 80 degrees. we're not that far off it. overnight tonight, spotty shower, 62 degrees, winds light as 6 miles per hour. future tracker 6 picking up a

"action news" told you about this on sunday after the happened on the 5800 block of race street. if you recognize the attacker in the video contact police. >> new on "action news," a georgia postal carrier is accused of disregarding the idea of driving through rain wind and snow, instead he was dumping mail in a ditch. this is the video that's parking an investigation. it's estimated that there may have been thousands of letters
scattered near the ditch. residence caught the worker dumping several bins in the wood like they were trash. >> at one point he stopped a took a break like he was tired, he tossed mail and drove off like it was normal. >> it took five u.s. postal investigators more than two hours to pick up every piece of mail. no charges have been filed against the mail carrier, but it's a federal offense to throw away mail that could result in a big fine. miami man is making news not only for the crime he committed, but for his mug shot. he was charged with first degree arson and attempted murder. while the charges are serious, what people are talking about is his booking photo. he lost part of his skull from a car accident, he said he was high on drugs at the time of the
