around here. david murphy has weather and karen rogers has traffic, good morning. >> reporter: it's comfortable around the region, we have clouds around. take a look at satellite. there's showers coming up from south jersey that could encroach on the region. 66 degrees in philadelphia. not much wind. 68 degrees in allentown. 66 in reading, 67 in trenton. 66 out the door in wilmington, as you take a look at fog, what has been sort of in and out of the picture in south jersey and delaware, in some cases creating dense fog conditions. in millville, you can hardly see .1 at the airport. be careful if you're driving around down south. some other spots might see patchy fog this morning. one more super-mild day. 71 degrees by 10:00 a.m. 76 by lunchtime. mostly cloudy by 3:00 p.m., high of 80 before sliding back to 74

causing an issue right there. let's show you the other issue, 295 southbound, we were noticing slow speeds at times 15 miles per hour. that's improved to 61. the construction between 47 and 653 not as much of a problem it's cleared and looking better. on the commuter traffic report, 295 northbound near paulsboro reporting an accident on the waze app. watch for that. today mostly clo -- cloudy skies and shower 80 saturday degrees. >> two children are in serious condition after being hit by an suv in louisville, kentucky. the kids were getting on the school bus when the cadillac plowed into them. when the bus stopped the driver had to swerve to avoid a rear end crash. he ended up jumping the curb and hit the kids. the police say the driver was injured and did not have

help him out. the tow truck is blocking the shoulder, so it's extra heavy on the schuylkill expressway westbound. you see the little bit of slowing approaching past to the blue route on the schuylkill expressway westbound. meanwhile, westbound 37 miles per hour at this point from approaching the boulevard to past belmont, but an easy 49 miles per hour eastbound by girard. slowing on the vine 39 miles per hour. i-95 southbound 17 miles per hour in the usual spot approaching cottman. you can see the southbound traffic jamming up as you head toward center city. no accidents reported, just heavy traffic. overall 23 minute ride on i-95 southbound from woodhaven to the vine. on the turnpike eastbound two lanes blocked here, we're watching slowing between norristown and fort washington on the pennsylvania turnpike. thank you karen. it's a tradition for the presidential candidates to go to

mayor who did not endorse chris christie. prosecutors say kelly started the traffic problems by sending an e-mail to david wildstein. wildstein pleaded guilty. >> a mother and daughter are charged with running a 6-state shoplifting ring that brought in $600,000. they stole cosmetics between 2011 and 2013. the accomplices returned the stolen goods that turned them into cash. in wilmington, delaware, police say someone fired into a crowd on the unit block of south ford avenue last night. a woman was hit in the jaw. no word on her condition this morning. an amtrak train hit a man in bucks county and he survived. chopper 6 hd was over the tracks
in croyden along bristol pike. the fast moving train was heading from new york to washington. lawmakers will huddle in trenton to talk about improving train safety. they will add positive train control. ptc helps regulate speed. new jersey won federal approval to install ptc6 years ago, but it's been slow to happen. the authorities' trains have been involved in 157 accidents since 2011. >> if you don't pay your tickets in allentown you won't get the boot you'll get thebarn.

corridor. future tracker 6 shows you the morning will be cloudy and showers east of philadelphia for the most part. the city could get caught with that. rest of the afternoon, clouds and sun mix. 6:00 we're looking at a cold front from the west bringing in showers. some of the showers will filter to the east later in the evening and somewhere in between 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., it's possible that philadelphia picks up some of this, as well. if you're heading out later on tonight. bring rain gear and jacket. i'll talk about that in a moment. next 1 hours look warm -- 12 hours look warm. 76 degrees by noon. 3:00 p.m., 80. mostly cloudy, spotty shower possible, but mainly dry during the day. high temperatures in the afternoon, upper 70s in allentown and trenton and wilmington, mid 70s down the shore in cape may today. temple game tonight this is an example of what i'm talking about how things will change
later on. by the 7:00 p.m. kickoff we're down to 72 degrees. by the 4th quarter around 1 1:00 p.m. we could be dipping into the upper 50s and possible shower. if you're heading out to the temple game i'll be there tonight. you might want to bring a jacket and arena gear would be a good -- and rain gear would be a good idea, as well. remember, no umbrellas at the stadium, but ponchos are okay. we have clouds in the morning tomorrow, and there's another issue, it will be chillier and windy. this is 8:00 a.m. we'll scoot it up to noon and 6:00 p.m. in the evening, you'll see winds gusts in the 30s and 40s and some as high as 45 miles per hour. the winds fall back a little bit on sunday. the temperatures come up a bit. kickoff for the eagles,

jersey, gloucester county, 295 northbound past 42. that's a spot that would be heavy with anyone coming from gloucester county 295 heading on 42 to go up and over the walt or the ben. we have an accident blocking two lanes. 295 was a mess yesterday farther north, so you have headaches from 295 anyway, now you have an accident out there this morning. let's go outside live and see what it looks like on the ben franklin bridge. fog is not a big issue. westbound traffic is getting busier as you can into the city. looking at the overall speeds, 19 miles per hour the slowest spot is southbound at cottman. 36 miles per hour on the vine which is not too bad for the vine. 29 miles per hour on the schuylkill expressway westbound and that's past the boulevard to belmont. let's see if the big board will work. i think maybe not. well, we're having an issue at the moment. we'll try one more thing. i wanted to show you that on
