jersey, let me set the scene the atlantic city expressway in gloucester township, this is the expressway at 42. we have a number of emergency workers, i got off the phone with the police, the state police say the problem it is a single-vehicle accident. you can see the car, it smashed into the guardrail and after the accident they have to fix the guardrail. a lot of emergency workers, guardrail smashed there was an injury atlantic city expressway eastbound at 42. meanwhile, another issue, we have one of two lanes between 42 and 168. half a lane blocked, they are not clearing until 8:00 a.m. that's going to cause a slow go. blue route, looking good, schuylkill expressway, speeds in the 50 os.

i-95, looking good, as well. vine street expressway no overnight construction and traffic moving fine matt and tam. >> an injured person shows up at a store in south philadelphia saying two maskedmen broke into his parents home. gray hall is live at the crime scene along south 21st street in south philadelphia, gray? >> reporter: matt this is an active scene and frighten situation something that should happen to no family inside their own home. state police on the scene. this is happening on the south 21st street in south philadelphia. this happened after 4:30 a.m. two masked men made their way into the home. if you're seeing the police truck, the home is across the police truck there. they break into this home, a child we're not sure how how old the child is, sleeping

downstairs, when the individuals break in, the child makes a dash to an alley and calls police for help. the police get to the scene. the individuals are gone by that point. that child consult his feet. he had -- can you tell his feet. he had to go to the hospital. he is in the hospital right now. nothing was taken, so the child sleeping downstairs was able to scare off the intruders if you will. an initial report saying one of the suspects in this case had a weapon. i talked to a sergeant on the scene, he is not sure what the weapon was or if they had a weapon, you have to remember this happened early in the morning, 4:30 a.m., the child was shaken. i can tell you the parents of the child that was in the hospital they were on the scene, they couldn't talk to me on camera, they were shaken, they said they have to go see their child. i asked what happened. they said they were a sleep

and someone broke into the home. the son was a sleep downstairs and he went outside and he received injuries from running through the alley. no shoes on, he made it to the 7-eleven. police got to the scene. the suspects got away, witnesses say they saw them leaving in a car. police actively investigating the scene right now, they are at the hospital interviewing the child in this case. we don't know how old the child is, but thankfully the child and the individuals loving inside the house not hurt. we're working to get more information when we get it we'll bring it to you. gray hall channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for the breaking details. we hope the child isen 0 the mend -- is on the mend soon. police say three cars were to finded on the street around -- were torched on the streets around 2:00 a.m.

prescott. >> reporter: suburban traffic report let's look in gloucester county, new jersey, this is the big accident of the morning on the atlantic city expressway eastbound at route 42. you can see the number of emergency workers here. looks like they moved a car. there was a car sideways. i talked to the sergeant at the state police. he said it was a single-vehicle crash who crashed into the guardrail. now the guardrail is damaged. they have a lot of workers here they need to repair in addition to the accident scene. they are working on the accident and blogging -- blocking the right lane on the atlantic city expressway. the ben franklin bridge it's a winds day, we have wet conditions -- it's a winds day, we have wet roads, but right now looking fine on the ben. looking at the other majors, i-95 no issues, the road is wide open past cottman heading toward center city.

pennsylvania neighborhood say a pitbull is preventing them from getting their mail. tank slipped out of the collar and jumped on the mailman. postal service sent a letter stating the mail will be held at the post office until safety measures are put in place. residents are more upset with the post office than the dog's owner. a person is suing amazon over a hover board fire. the family is suing amazon for negligence seeking $30 million. they claim the company told them a counterfeit product when they thought they were getting the real deal. tennessee counterfeit law holds the seller responsible. the online retailer banned the sale of hover boards citing safety concerns. you out.
