new administration. let's go over to david murphy and matt pellman in for karen. >> reporter: we'll see windy gusts 40 to 45 miles per hour through the region. the current gusts are impressive, 36 miles per hour in philadelphia. after sunrise they could build back up. satellite and radar shows you there's a fair amount of cloud cover around and some breaks. 39 degrees in philadelphia. 36 in allentown and reading. 38 in wilmington, 37 in trenton, 38 down through millville. again as we take a look at the windchill it feels like the 20s, so definitely bundle up this morning the combination of the 30s and the strong winds gives you that. 41 by noon. this will be the coolest day of the period that we've been in, a high of 45 degrees, sun and clouds, and still windy right into evening. things settle down over the next couple of days wind-wise, we get

fine no overnight construction, everything is opened by the schuylkill expressway. cruise are expected to return tonight at 11:00 p.m., the crash on i-95 is gone, everything good on this monday morning. fire officials say a number of people were burned the flames spread to neighboring homes and cars. so katherine scott is live on the fire scene along weinberg place. what's going on, katherine? >> reporter: matt are we've been told there are multiple injuries, but we don't know the conditions of the victims at this point. we're on weinberg, people are walking around with cloths and rags pressed up their noses and mouths it is very smoky as the firefighters work to battle the blaze on weinberg place. authorities say the fire started

in a home and spread to neighboring houses. cars on the block were also burning. there are heavy wind gusts in trenton as firefighters continue this effort. there are reports of burn injuries, medic it is on the scene were transporting occupants to the hospital in the area. the fire department requested buses to the scene for dozens who are unable to get back inside their homes. we've seen pse&g looks like the power is out on the surrounding streets. this is an active scene in trenton this morning. the fire department remains here, we're hearing multiple injuries, but no word on their conditions. live in trenton, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> cumberland county officials say a child was hit by gunfire that erupted in millville. it happened on the 1700 block of east broad street. the child was rushed to the

medical center in vineland, but no condition was released. police say the investigation is on going and no arrests have been made. police are investigating a possible burglary at philadelphia city hall. a maintenance worker saw two men climb through an open window. the worker confronted the men and notified security. when security arrived they were gone. there was no damage to the building, but they are working to see if anything was stolen. federal aviation crews have arrived on the scene of a plane crashed that killed a 78-year-old man. the pilot was william will i liy from beechwood, new jersey. he was the only person on board. a plane taking off from philadelphia international airport never made it off the ground. this is why, these are new

images of the firefighters inside the cabin. the plane was on the runway heading to cincinnati when passengers and crew noticed smoke. they boarded a different plane and made it to ohio without incident. the plane was taken out of rotation. >> happening today, president-elect donald trump is expected to meet with presidential rival rick perry. a number of officials have been visiting trump's north jersey golf club as the president-elect looks to fill the top jobs in the administration. >> reporter: from president-elect to king of twitter, this weekend we saw both sides of donald trump. smiling and statesman like, trump lined up 20 meetings in two days, using twitter, he tweeted sunday, general james "matt dog" matti is as secretary of defense.

people have been injured in a multi-alarm fire in woodbury, new jersey, you can see the flames going through the roof of one of these flames. three homes cars and brush apparently on fire here. fire crews report that live wires are down, they have requested utility crews to the scene. brush near the houses on fire. crews have reported heavy winds came through overnight in the area, the entire block has been evacuated, again 6 people have been injured in woodbury,

they say the pipeline threatens cultural sites and drinking water. ambush shooting of a saint police sergeant was killed in a shootout with police overnight. the 46-year-old officer was sitting in traffic yesterday evening when another car pulled up alongside his marked police vehicle, he was shot in the face. the sergeant is in critical condition, but expected to survive. police caught up with the suspect early this morning, police say he shot at officers and he was killed when they returned fire. workers at o'hare international airport will announce when they will walk off the job. five hundred workers are fighting for union rights and want to be paid $15 an hour. they warning for baggage

again, good monday morning, good news since last we spoke on the schuylkill expressway eastbound approaching gladwyn crews cleaning up the downed tree brought down by the whipping winds cleared out of the way. you see a couple of players on the right shoulder. both lanes are reopened on the schuylkill expressway eastbound heading toward belmont. no construction on the vine street expressway that's good news. you're good on i-95 as well. there's another downed tree 611 at barrett road at presbyterian church. no issues on the pennsylvania
