you, 5:00 a.m., monday, november 28 i'm gray hall with erin o'hern. matt and tam have the morning off. here's what's happening. >> developing on "action news" a couple of attackers are on the run after ambushing and shooting a transgendered woman leaving a bar. we're live with the details. >> president-elect is on a new twitter tirade. >> the eagles are ready to face off against the packers in a monday night showdown on 6abc. >> let's take a look at weather and traffic and head over to david murphy and karen rogers, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, everybody we're off to a bright start once we get the skin -- sun up over the horizon. this bank of clouds will come in and we'll cloudy up later in the day. there's rain to the west that will be an issue, but not until tomorrow morning. 33 degrees is the temperature in philadelphia.

south philadelphia with the eagles playing at 8:30 tonight. schuylkill expressway roads are in good shape. this is the schuylkill expressway approaching spring garden, this is eastbound traffic heading toward the vine. no delays, looking good right there. we have construction in hammonton, causing a problem in atlantic county on 206. intermittent lane blockages and closures until 7:00 a.m. with the roving construction crew at choose road. a live look at -- chews road. we begin with developing story, police say a transgendered woman was followed home from a bar and shot by her attackers. annie mccormick is live outside the 19th district police in west philadelphia. good morning, annie. good morning, erin, police are looking for two suspects they were one of them is the person responsible for open fire. the officers say in the area

where it occurred, they have confident that they have surveillance video that will show more of the crime. the suspect fired multiple times at the victim who was described as a 21-year-old transgendered woman. the victim was hit in the hip. earlier police say the victim and the suspects were in the same bar and the victim may have been followed home expmghts whe- and that's when the shooting occurred. >> they were in a bar at 66th and landsdown and when the victim exited the bar, two other patrons of the bar followed the victim about two blocks at the intersection of 66th and malvern for some reason one of the two males that was following the victim fired five shots striking the victim in the hip. the victim was able to run about a half a block to their home. >> reporter: it is a vague description of only one of the

suspects, but it does appear he has multiple tattoos on his face. the victim is in stable condition in the hospital. reporting live from west philadelphia, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news" back to you. >> the northbound lanes of route -- 21 in middletown township, a worker trying to change a flat tire was hit by a car. he was rushed to the hospital with several broken bones. the police say the investigation continues, and they do not expect charges. high-speed chase shut down a burlington county road for several hours. it started at 12:30 p.m. in voorhees on route 73. the suspect crashed into several cars before coming to a stop. evesham township is where police arrested the suspect. several people had minor

injuries, police have not said what led to the chase. fire investigators are working to find out what sparked a fire in camden county overnight. crews were called to the 1200 block of north 32nd street in camden after 2:00 a.m. crews began to fight the fire that destroyed a home and caused smoke and water damage to a second home. occupants in both homes all escaped without injury. from our new jersey newsroom, stun guns may be legal in the garden state. the state's ban on stun guns are constitutional. stun guns are protected under the second amendment. right now officers in new jersey are permitted to use stun guns. leaders in wisconsin are expected to meet to discuss a timeline for the recount of the state's election. the recount comes at the request

4:00 p.m., it's damp around the region. wednesday morning we start out cloudy and get a break in the rain. in the afternoon, we could have steadier rain and afternoon thunderstorm that continues into wednesday night and early thursday morning before it's done. up until this time thursday morning we're expecting as much as 2 inches of rain in parts of the region. i could see pockets going higher than that. much-needed rain spread out over the neck couple of days. 56 is the high, sun to clouds. tomorrow, 65 is the high, gets milder. wednesday, 68 degrees, but of course we'll have more clouds and more afternoon and evening rain. may have have a little bit of lingering rain thursday morning, otherwise afternoon drying 61 temperatures dumb you touching in the afternoon. after that we're dry, much cooler, 61, 53, and 49 as we head through next weekend. >> next on "action news," ten

from an argument between two men who were not from new orleans. we're learning more about the day a missing woman from california found alive on the side of the road. sherri papini vanished three weeks wag after going for a run. a diver saw the mother badly beat up only the side of the road in rural northern california. that driver called 911. >> she is heavily battered. she had heavy chains on her wrists when she was found. they are examining her clothing and chains for any dna evidence. she was treated for injuries and reunited with her husband. >> google has fixed trump's to your after it was changed on google map. it was changed to dump tower.

>> good morning, 5:30, november 28. i'm erin o'hern. >> i'm gray hall. >> reporter: good morning, everybody are there are clouds to the west, we'll see sunrise as the day goes on, the clouds will overtake us a little bit more and the rain to the west will chug on through. 34 degrees, the temperature slipped a little bit in philadelphia. we're below freezing in trenton in the upper 20s in allentown and reading and lancaster. the freezing mark on the nose in wilmington. 24 degrees in millville. 29 in dover. cape may not reporting this hour, but they were in the mid 40s the will a hour and probably still there. winds are light, you don't have to worry about any big time windchills. lots of sun by 7:00 a.m. 34 degrees it will be cold for the morning run. 10:00 a.m., 42 degrees with possible clouds filling in.
