another half-hour, the northbound zone by 495 is clearing out, as is the work along 70 or i-95. woodstown for the next hour watch out for construction crews by route 45. >> this is developing this morning, the action cam is live on the scene of a devastating four-alarm fire in the lehigh valley. the flames are out now, overnights we learned that 23 people from seven families have been displaced. take a look at the scene last night there on the 400 block of north fulton street. the fire spread and ended up causing damage to 8 row homes that was pretty much the entire block. thick smoke and fierce flames were seen billowing out from the buildings. crews for 8 hours before getting it under control early this morning. >> my daughter was in the back bedroom. she came out and said the house next-door was on fire. i looked, i came downstairs and
grabbed some things and she grabbed the animals. there were thick flames shootings out everywhere. >> the red cross is providing assistance to people in need. the cause of what kicked this off is under investigation at this hour. 5:04, a fire tragedy in west philadelphia took a man's life as it pushed 8 others out into the cold night and damaged businesses. annie mccormick is live on the 300 block of north 64th street. good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tamala, i want to give you a look at the damage that's left behind. you can see on the top floor of the building right there, you can see that's where the fire focused most of its attention that is where the man who died was believed to be inside when firefighters did discover him. a viewer captured the video with the sound that sounds like an explosion, take a listen.
well, the blaze began around 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of north 64th street. 50 personnel and 11 units arrived on the scene. when firefighters arrived they could see heavy flames on the second floor of the three story tore front. when crews got into the building they discovered a 44-year-old man dead. >> certainly while our firefighter do the best they can, this is a very frustrating and unfortunate result for us, despite their best efforts, heroic efforts they were not able to get this particular individual. >> reporter: now, we are told two buildings were destroyed, 8 people are without a home, they did not need assistance from red cross according to fire crews because they were able to stay with family nearby. as for the explosion, firefighters believe it came from a cylinder, possibly an oxygen tank. the fire is under investigation, that includes a cause. reporting live in west

opened the envelope in his kitchen and it blew up. a ten thousand dollars reward is available for anyone who helps catch the bomber. a teenager is accused of killing his mother and brother while they were asleep. he grabbed a handgun and loaded it and walked into his mother's room earlier this week he is accused of shooting her in the forward and doing the same to his brother. >> he placed the phone call and said his father placed firearm. >> a boy went outside and a neighbor calmed him down, he dropped the gun, police took him into custody. the suspect told police he did not get along with his parents. happening today, election officials in philadelphia will conduct a recount of the presidential vote in 75 city precincts. this will happen in response to petitions filed by green party candidate jill stein.

shots were fired at mcnight. he played for the jets and the chiefs between 2010 and 2014. utah officials are trying to determine a student intentions for firing a gun at school. nobody was hurt. police say the teenager fired a shotgun into a classroom ceiling in bountiful, a teacher and student were able to talk the gunman down before his parents arrived and disarmed him. the students mom and dad were on the way to school after noticing the guns were missing. the teenager is facing criminal charges. a colorado man checked his surveillance cameras and realized his landlord was in his apartment he was making himself at home to a gross degree. the tape shows the man went into his ten apartment and had
