the oath. >> let's talk a little bit about your tuesday weather. karen has got that. >> going to need the umbrella today and it's going to be kind of dreary for much of the seven day period. let's start you off with storm tracker6 live double scan. we see some showers in south jersey and up to the north as well. let's go in a little closer to this because with double scan we can detect some areas of blue. we had some freezing rain but it's well up near i80 lake marm knee and mount pocono. in allentown we're still seeing above freezing temperatures and it's coming down as just rain there. as you go a little farther to the south as we look in philadelphia region we're seeing nothing more than a little sprinkle. that's near norristown and some showers that have been exiting the coastline after leaving you wet in south jersey and delaware. let's go on outside right now and show you what it looks like and we're out live looking at city hall and we see people out and about, not terribly bundled today as temperatures are -- will be above average later on this afternoon. the current temperature in the city is 39. the dewpoint 30. lots of moisture in the atmosphere.
barometric pressure is falling winds are pretty light and the ocean temperature is 40. satellite6 and action radar slowing that we're starting to see just some light drizzle and showers move through the area now. the heavier rains out here to the west as we widen out you get a better view of that. here's the area of low pressure. that's that same big one that brought all the ice storms out to the plains. as this low drags up to the north and east it draws some milder air in our region. you'll see temperatures rise. we'll all see periods of rain through the day today. let's show you what it looks like on future tracker. the first half of the day is just enough to be damp a little dreary. once you hit about 1:30 this afternoon starts to pick up a little bit and some showers moving through. certainly more so about 4 o'clock people coming home from school and it will be rather wet on the roads. we advance this to their evening hours. even at 11:30 the last shower is coming through but the heaviest of it looks to be or the steadiest late afternoon early evening. so here's your hour by hour forecast. at 8:00 a.m. it's 39. lots of clouds. maybe a shower. by 10:00 a.m., 43.
still not a lot of rain. by lunchtime 42 and it's kind of at our doorstep by then. i think the heavier rain comes maybe 1 o'clock or so. by 3 o'clock it's raining pretty good at times, 45. and by 6 o'clock, 44 degrees. so, periods of rain on and off. tomorrow we dry things out a little bit. we get a northwesterly breeze. 12 to 20 miles an hour. so, that will dry you out. we're going to start off with clouds, though. 52 degrees for your high temperature so we're at least above average. let's take a look at your seven day starting with today. periods of rain, still the concern for some icing in the lehigh valley and the poconos, 45 for your high. tomorrow may start off a little foggy, clouds, may have an early shower but it looks that most of the day is dry. it's just milder and 52. lots of clouds linger, though. thursday partly sunny skies, 52. i think thursday's the best day of the week. you're dry. you get at least some sunshine mixing with the clouds. friday is mild but we get rain again in the afternoon and evening, 51 for your high. saturday may start off a little damp. then some sunshine mixed with the clouds, 51.
we're only 49 on sunday but that's still above average. mostly cloudy skies. normally you have a high of only 40 and we're not seeing any of that on this seven day. monday periods of rain once again and 52. so, temperatures are trending above average but chance for a few days of getting some rain here and there and the first day of that is hitting us now, tam. >> okay, thank you, karen. it is now 6:41 and the suspect in the pulse nightclub shooting is dead but the case is not closed. up next why authorities are now going after his wife. >> later a new beer sales law takes effect in pennsylvania. we'll tell you what it means for consumers today. matt. >> delays brewing along 422 nydia. eastbound side now slow as it so often is from oaks through this point on into route 23 and we have a pair of problems on 476. i'll tell you about them when "action news" continues on this tuesday morning. >> ♪

but southbound the vehicle involved otherwise is off to the side. so you're getting by, no big delay there on the southbound side of 476. we're seeing a little bit of slowing along 422 westbound through pottstown. making me think they may have started that construction early today. i have been telling you they'll be working 7::phil 2:00 through the westbound lanes. already slow so i think 33 may have set up a pattern a little bit earlier. skippack township crash along 113 bridge road at mensch road by swirls and nibble which i think is an ice cream place. kind of an interesting name. cressman road or collegeville road would be some alternates. in conshohocken still have the fire location along elm street. i think spring mill or washington would be better bets. on the big picture some slowing on the schuylkill with speeds in the 30's. same on 95, 20's and teens as you come southbound from cottman into girard. nydia. >> matt, thank you. the wife of the orlando nightclub shooter is due in federal court today to answer to charges related to the
