that. >> reporter: we can feel the chill in the air, we'll see sunshine before the clouds filter in. you can see snow showers to the west those will be part of the package later this morning and this afternoon, but nothing out there right now. temperatures are cold, 34 degrees in philadelphia. the up upper 20s in allentown and reading. 37 in cape may. there's a bit of a breeze blowing at 10, 12 miles per hour. that's knocking the windchills down to the 10 and 20s. extra gear today, please. 37 degrees by 7:00 a.m. noon, 38 degrees, we hit a high of 40 at 3:00 p.m. by 3:00 p.m. and certainly before then there's a chance of a pop up snow shower here or there, i don't think these will have an impact on roads, karen, but we could get a slushy coating on grassy surfaces in spots today. i'll track those with future tracker 6 and give you the weekend call coming up.
>> reporter: for now, we're dry, not a snow shower in sight. this is mcdade boulevard we watch live as the car is towed away. currently blocking a lane they are clearing the scene on the blue route with the early morning accident. an accident in lower merion, montgomery county haverford road at medford road. live on the vine street expressway no problems, no overnight construction no delays. the action cam was on the scene, a large sinkhole happening in port richmond an issue for the morning commute. there you can see the crews have boarded it up and set up the barriers diverting traffic. this is east clear field street near frankford avenue in port richmond. one more issue a water main break in south egg harbor, main street, stick to old mays
landing road. this is breaking overnight, gunshots in east mount airy section, at least four people were taken to the hospital. katherine scott is live on the 7100 block of germantown avenue. she has the details on what's geeing on here, good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, police say four people were shot, three of them were customers inside a bar here, the 4th was a bartender who was working. the shooting happened actually outside the bar in east mount airy, 7165 restaurant bar and there's music there, as well. it happened right after closing. police believe the shooter was a customer inside the bar. there had been 20 people inside for a small concert going on on the 7100 block of germantown avenue. a fight started brewing inside, at 2:00 a.m. when the bar closed everyone went outside and the fight turned physically, employees went out to calm
everybody down and 8 shots were fired. officers on patrol heard the gunshots to see people running and cars speeding away they followed a vehicle that crashed into a telephone pole in there from west upsal. a man was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at einstein. two other men showed up at the hospital one shot in the torso and one in the leg, a 26-year-old bartender was hit in the leg in stable condition. she went outside with other employees to try to calm down the crowd to get everybody out of the area and that's when the shots rang out. the three male victims i don't know if they were struck by gunfire or involved in the physical altercation, don't know at this time. >> reporter: at this point, police do not have a description of the shooter, there are
numerous surveillance cameras inside and outside the bar, there are number of witnesses who are trying to sort all this out, live in east mount airy, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> new this morning, a police chase ended in a crash in wilmington, delaware. this is what it looked like at 4th and spruce at 9:00 p.m. a driver of an suv lost control and jumped the curb and slammed into a utility pole. police are questioning that person and three others in the suv. it is not clear where the pursuit began or why the police were chasing the vehicle. a church pastor has been charged in the death of his 2-year-old granddaughter a pastor in lebanon pennsylvania. he is charged in failing to report a suspected case of child abuse. foster's granddaughter died of pneumonia back in 2016. the pastor anointed her with oil in a failed attempt to heal her.
the toddler's parents are awaiting trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter. they were arrested last month. a 17-year-old was arrested for tieing up a 72-year-old woman and leaving her in the closet for days. the teen escaped from a nearby behaval health facility and ransacked the home before returning to assault her. that incident is not connected to the recent home invasions. the man who attacked her in her . >> i have nothing to say about him, put him in jail and leave the as you canner -- sucker there. attorney general jeff session has recused himself from

12 miles per hour no longer drawing the flow out of the south. so today will be chillier. in terms of any precipitation by 10:00 a.m. there could something here and there. the majority of the snow showers we're expecting probably hold off until this afternoon. they could mix with rain closer to the shore. by 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. you can see how there's a speckled pattern of this stuff coming through. probably by 8:00 p.m. or so it's beginning to die down early in the evening. we don't expect a lot out of this, it is mainly in the afternoon. the ground is above freezing as it comes through. there's grassy coating on grassy spots, but the roads will be wet when they come through. big story today is the chill, 33 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 36 by 10:00 a.m. noon, upper 0s. 3:00 p.m., getting up to 40 for the high, again the spotty snow showers popping through and by 6:00 p.m. we're back down to 35. 40 degrees in allentown close to
