north hampton david oh had to t after attempted robbery outside his home katherine scott is outsides of the attack.tors believe it was a crime of opportunity likely the man didn't know that the person he was attacking was a city council member. david oh remains here in critical, but stable condition. before he went into surgery he was talking and in good spirits. some of his colleagues stopped by to see how he was doing. he was getting out of car on the 5800 block of thomas satisfy near his southwest philadelphia home. it's the same neighborhood where he lived since 1963 when a man approached him around 9:30. he was getting bags out of his trunk when the man starting pointed talking to him.
the councilman couldn't understand what he said, he asked him a few questions that's when the man pulled out a knife and demanded he hand over his keys he stabbed him on the left side of the body and fled. oh is a veteran he has a wife and four children. he was first elected to city council in 2011 and re-elected four years later. word spread quickly, the fire commissioner and sheriff and council president were here as well as staff members to see how he was doing. >> he engaged in conversation asked him what he needed, that's the way he is.oalk to people and try to helpthis point. >> we came over and talk to evs okay. at any anytime, doesn't matter who it is,ikes again, wel

ment shots broke out at 11:00 p.m. along the 1300 block of west rush street. philadelphia police say two shooters approached their victims on bikes and fired over two dozen times at close range. police say they arrived on scene and saw two men on the ground with gunshot wounds to the torso and surrounded by shell casings. one victim was in his 20s. the other 17 years old. authorities would later find another gunshot victim. >> while investigatin scene, a third victim, a 20-year-old male showed up at temple hospital by private auto. the 20-year-old male was shot one time in the arm. he is in stable condition. >> reporter: and police don't have a motive or suspect just yet, but they are about her viewing witnesses at the -- they are interviewing witnesses at this hour. they are reviewing surveillance video from police cameras and surveillance cameras they hope
will give them clues that lead to the killers. jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." >> we have new details on a story we first broke on "action news" yesterday morning, an 18-year-old has been charged with the attempted murder of his 7-year-old sister. police say he put a bag over the face of his sister. their mother found them unconscious in the basement of the home in the city's olney section. police arrested alfred yesterday when they found him in the back seat of a police car at the 35th district. officials say bogus bills are popping up around the area. they started at genuine smaller bills and they forged to look like 100-dollar bill. they will pass the ink test. secret service cruise magnifying
