speckles of light precipitation, most of you will enjoy a dry commute. at times you'll get a drizzle drop on the windshield or a light shower out there. as we look at cloud cover wide on satellite, you can see it out to the west. we'll see sunny breaks and occasionally a shower or late-day thunderstorm is possible. 66 degrees is the current temperature in philadelphia. 59 in allentown. as you go south we're in the low 70s in a couple of spots and close to that down the shore. 66 degrees by 7:00 a.m. noon, 77. 3:00 p.m., 79 there's a chance of a spotty shower popping up through the morning. as we get past 2, 3, 4:00 p.m. there is a gusty thunderstorm mixing. we stay unsettled for the next several days with showers around, check out pollen very low there's one advance we have when we get rain in the picture.

karen, i'll map out the seven-day forecast and tell you what's going to happen with the thunderstorms later on that's coming up. >> reporter: we have a sprinkle or two in spots. this is the schuylkill expressway approaching spring garden heading toward center city no problems there. route 30 right now we have construction blocking one lane as you're traveling northbound on 202 you're dealing with the construction crews out there right now. no construction crews on the vine street expressway, westbound, eastbound all lanes open moving nicely with no problems this morning. on the northeast extension we have crews in both directions. this is between quakertown and lansdale in each direction blocking one lane. you see the green traffic flow not causing problems. 42 northbound traffic moving toward the walt whitman bridge no big issues, matt and tam. thank you, karen. breaking right now, a man

is shot dead during a home invasion, a intruders kicked in the back door and fired off 11 shots while the victim was on the couch. the house is on the 6500 block of north 16th street in the west oak lane section. the 29-year-old victim was shot at pointblank range skidding on the couch, his grandmother was upstairs at the time. fortunately we did find private surveillance cameras in the neighborhood that did possibly captured shooters leaving the scene. "action news" is on the scene looking for more information. look for a live report on "action news" later this morning. police say a man escaped in bucks county taking off between lower state road in doylestown. a reverse 911 call went out for

residents in warrington and chalfonte telling residents to stay in their homes. we're trying to find out if the order is in place and what the prisoner was held for. this is the search area -- that's where the transport was taking place in doylestown, but again, the search taking place in chalfonte and warrington townships. when we get information we'll pass it along, we do not know if the inmate is in custody. anyone with information about the inmate's whereabouts is urge to call 911. >> happening today, bill cosby goes on trial tore abdomin alleged sexual attack. andrea constan cosby's accuser is expected to have her say on the stand offering up a different entertainer beloved by generations as a funny tv dad. katherine scott is live in norristown with a preview.

it's going to be a busy morning, katherine. >> reporter: it is, tam, after a year and half of pretrial hearings opening statements are set to begin montgomery county courthouse, you mentioned how busy it is going to be, there's fencing set up outside the courthouse trying to keep order given the this morning of reporters and spectators expected today. over the course of the last 18 months, bill cosby and his defense team have tried multiple times to get the case thrown out, but the bid to do so has been unsuccessful. cosby who will be 80 next month is accused of drugging and sexually abusing andrea constan at his home in 2004. constan sued cosby for sexual

battery. dozens of new accusers came forward, months later a federal judge granted an associated press request to unseal the confidential deposition. constan and one other accusers among those expected to take the stands. cosby is not expected to testify, although the jury will here the deposition in the 2005 lawsuit. cosby's case was part of the race for district. the jury will be sequestered throughout the trial. roles in the death of a classmate in delaware. 16-year-old amy joyner-francis died last year after being attacked in a bathroom she had an unknown heart condition. a 17-year-old was convicted of homicide, a second teen was found guilt of conspiracy, a judge acquitted the thirteen. we have more information on the most recent london terror attack. police raided two homes rounding up two more suspects, in addition to taking possible accomplices into custody. isis said the three men who went on a rampage on london bridge were fighting on the terror network's behalf. seven people were killed, a vigil is set today to remember the seven people who died and pray for the dozens of survivors many critically injured. we're hearing from the people who saw the horror up close. >> he said this is for allah,

sprinkle in the morning and afternoon and thunderstorms late. in terms of the severe storms storm prediction center has a chance of isolated strong thunderstorm in lehigh valley and reading. 65 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 75 by 10:00 a.m. 77 noon noon that's the high. we're going for the 70s today. 77 in allentown. 79 in reading. 78 in wilmington. 77 in millville. down the shore low 70s, mostly cloudy skies and sunny breaks and occasional shower or thunderstorm. tomorrow you see more of the same, cloudy skies a couple of sprinkles and showers in the morning hours, maybe a scattered showers or thunderstorm in the afternoon as we have an unsettled pattern that continues straight through tuesday, maybe wednesday with more of the stuff and i can't rule out an isolated

truck and another vehicle and stopped a few blocks away. philadelphia are investigating an unusual double murder. a passer by found a man and woman shot to death on sydney street in east mount airy yesterday. the 23-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were shot in the back of the head from the back of the car. the woman who found the victims said she did not recognize them from the neighborhood. >> they were clearly dead. >> call police if you have any information. this is new crews rescued a horse from a mountain side in california. first responders needed a harness to lift the horse from the slope. the owner called the vet to tranquilize the horse to be hauled away by helicopter. the 11-year-old horse is expected to make a full

officer was critically injured after being dragged by a car for more than two city blocks. the officer fired two shots before freeing himself from the vehicle. he was questioning the driver about nearby gunshots before the driver took off. a 15-year-old inside the vehicle was shot in the face. investors think the teen was hit by an officer's bullet. he is considered a suspect in the case and is in critical
