east 6 and street. a child is in critical condition after being shot in the head. his mother a woman in her 30s was also grazed by a bullet in the home. >> a 6-year-old child was actually shot in the head. unintented target with people out with violence. >> witnesses tell "action news" that the mother and child were sitting in the car at the time and a reporter is on the way to the scene and updates here and online at 6abc.com. >> meantime we are learning new information about a deadly shooting in gloucester county, a knowledge transit bus driver was killed in what people believe was a murder-suicide. christie aleto is live with the details for us. >> reporter: that is right. we learned that the victim is identified address 45-year-old ryan c. reynolds apparently shot while on the job.

his killer then fled before she took her own life. the calls for help came in at 1:30 this afternoon. -- gloucester county prosecutors office confirmed that a 45-year-old bus driver, ryan c. reynolds was shot in the garage by jackson. she fled seconds after the murder and police tracked her down at center and mantua streets later where she reportedly took her own life. we didn't hear gunshots just sirens and then the police arrived and an ambulance. >> detectives do not believe the murder was random and what prompted the shooting remains unclear. >> things like this happen and it's a sad thing and unfortunate. >> reporter: now again these are

and had never given her version of the story before. at 2:00 andrea constand was called to the witness stand and for the first time told her story. the first time he put his hand on her high and the fourth time he tried to undo her parents and she left. on a fifth visit she says he plied her with pills and wine and cosby led me to the couch and i saw two of him. the next recollection was being jolted awake as cosby groped her breast and fondled her inside of her pants. she was unable to tell him to stop or resist him. she woke up later humiliated and confused and left. cosby's lawyers will argue it was entirely consensual. outside of the courtroom one of

finished down 7. the u.s. labor department says the number of jobs opened nationwide. is at an all-time high. employers are looking to fill 6 million jobs as of april and analysts mean that employers are ready to hire and probably willing to pay higher wagers to wormer. nearly 7 million americans are still looking for work and according to critics that is a sign of disparity from expectation and those looking for work and those looking to hire. budding entrepreneurs showed of their tech skills at port richmond. the action cam was there for part of a special expo to help students learn coding and build their own apps and it teaches students how to create business and marketing plans. three winners were chosen from the entire field at today's event. in northeast philadelphia

time for a check of the an-. adam joseph is in for cecily tynan. any good news? >> there is great news the forecast, you have to wait a couple of days but once the sun returns it will be back in full force as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan there has been some breaks in the cloud cover over the last hour or so. one or two breaks outside of the studio here. and as we head to the north and west showers drifting through parts of berks county and north western parts of montgomery county as they try to rotate from the southeast. it doesn't have a lot of precipitation but a few scattered showers and a ribbon of rain sinking into parts of south jersey and parts of salem

county as well as gloucester, camden county and now near mays landing and the atlantic city expressway dealing with wet weather especially around the toll booth there and heading to the northern part brigantine and long beach island. temperatures are cool across much of the area 60s for allentown and near 60 in trenton. 50s for beach haven with the east-northeasterly wind and that wind which is all because of a front that pushed in from the north and west, is pretty much halted here near wilmington and dover, on the opposite side of that front there is a westerly wind at 75 right now in lancaster and warmer if you are just to the west. if you look at the 24 hour change it's 10 degrees colder from this time yesterday in philadelphia and allentown and trenton and toms river and warmer in lancaster again all because of the wind direction. satellite and radar we are dealing with the upper level low

comey's upcoming testimony on capitol hill and you can watch that following "action news" at 6:00. in other news tonight a woman is fighting for her life after she was shot near a school bus stop in upper darby delaware county. it happened on guilford road after 8:00 a.m. detectives tell "action news" someone shot the woman twice in the head and once in the chest. neighbors say that if the shooting happened moments earlier children would have been at the bus stop. >> i am scared i will not let by babies out. >> they go around shooting people for nothing. >> the woman's identity and condition have not been released. police have no suspects and no motive. the victim was found to a gunshot wound to the head in the city's mantua section. officers were responding to gun fire when they found the man

last night. he was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead just before midnight. the family a man killed by philadelphia police has now file aid wrongful death lawsuit. richard per etty was shot by officer shannon in may of last year. police maintain that the schuylkill county native drove his minivan at the officer and two unidentified officers forces them to open fire. >> but the family says that the officers stepped in the path of the vehicle as the unarmed chef was looking for a parking spot. we reached out but police do not common on ongoing lawsuits. the only hotel in the city of trenton remains closed tonight after being ordered to shut down by the state because of safety violations yesterday. >> the lafayette park hotel and
