right then. we'll get it to you as soon as it comes in. david is off. matt and karen are here with traffic and weather. >> was there swimming that happened yesterday? >> no there wasn't but there could be because it feels like summer. once again we've got a morning with a fair amount of clouds out there, maybe a sprinkle in the poconos. otherwise the day is dry, kind of similar to yesterday, we're just turning up the numbers a little bit and turning up the humidity as well. it's 64 in allentown, 65 in reading. sitting at 68 in the city and cape may 67 atlantic city airport. very mild normally we would be in the low 50s for the overnight hours. watching for a touch of fog in one or two spots. i haven't been keeping an eye on it. doesn't seem too bad. clouds and sun through the day. 76 at noon, at 3:00, 81. your high today is 83. at 5:00 coming down from that, even at 5:00, 80 degrees. 7:00 at night, it's 76.

so feeling mild even through the overnight hours. as you're dressing the kids today, no jackets required here. temperatures ranging from 63-68 degrees. partly cloudy skies and mild. i want to show you the dew points here that's always an indication of the humidity thrau the air. so yesterday we were in the 50s. you can see the difference now in the low 60s already at this point. so the dew point once you hit 60 feels kind of sticky. so you're in the 60s in the lehigh valley, even more so in south jersey, 65. 65 in beach haven, 65 in millville. humid and warm. when does it change? that 7-day is coming up. >> if you can believe it, it was the second overnight in a row when we're dealing with an awful motorcycle crash along the schuykill expressway. the better news this morning is everything is reopened in both directions along the schuykill at gerard. you're good to go this morning, unlike yesterday morning when we were without those eastbound

lanes in university city pretty much the whole morning long. but overnight there was construction on the westbound side of the schuykill at 30 street. that's now gone and we're starting to pick up the pace there. there's still some work on the boulevard both ways near cottman and wrapping up on 95 southbound by the betsy ross bridge in northbound. this is a look at 95 in bucks county. overnight work here by business 1 has also cleared. good to go in both directions. all lanes are reopened. over in south jersey still a few work zones. there's one in cherry hill no delay as traffic gets by in the left lane. and in gloucester county 77 is blocked again for construction for the next hour. >> the armed intruder who assaulted a woman in her own in the city's olney section remains on the loose. the acan tack happened early

tuesday morning. police say the intruder robbed and sexually assaulted the 57-year-old woman then tried to steal her car. her neighbor wrestled the man to the ground but he got away. >> live in a house without somebody bothering them. >> investigators say the man left behind a trail of evidence including a gun and a glove. >> a gloucester county school board has decided to klaus an elementary school after an ongoing mold issue. they heard from parents at a hearing last night. their students at holly glen elementary have been getting sick. the students will be temporarily relocated to three other schools. we'll have more coming up in a live report in our next half hour. >> authorities say the las vegas gunman booked rooms at other music festivals in the months before sunday's shooting the

information comes as investigators struggle to explain why he opened fire again and again, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds more. katherine scott is live with details. >> reporter: investigators are still working to figure out what motivated stephen paddock to open fire on all those innocent people. they now believe he may have had help at some point and had plans to escape. thousands gathered in las vegas to pay tribute to off duty las vegas police officer charleston heartfield who lost his life in sunday's mass shooting. 58 lives lost. chairs overturned, coolers scattered. the chaos left behind. stephen paddock fired into a crowd of concert goers. investigators are still gathering evidence. they collected his cell phone which revealed he considered other possible targets, searching for hotel rooms around

boston's fenway park and booking rooms in chicago that coincided with the lollapalooza festival across the street. but he never checked in. >> we made the assumption he had to have some help at some point. >> reporter: his girlfriend marilou danley is considered a person of interest and is cooperating with the fbi. paddock was seen with a different woman in the days leading up to the attack. we're trying to figure out who she is and what show knows. meanwhile the national rifle association, the white house and a growing number of republicans are looking at regulations on bump stock devices paddock is said to use. the nra's president on fox news. >> that being said we didn't say ban, we didn't say confiscate. >> bipartisan support to deal with it. >> reporter: as this investigation continues, more than 150 of the injured remain

in hospitals. we're live from the satellite center, katherine scott, channel 6 action news. >> the breaking of this year's noble peace prize has just been announced and it goes to the international campaign to abolish nuclear weapons. it seeks to prohibit nukes under international law. here is a live look where the committee just chose the winner. 215 individuals and 103 organizations were nominated this year. in selecting ican the next step is to address nuclear armed states of which the u.s. is one. >> it is 5:07 and new on action news, police in montgomery county need some help in identifying a burglar. norristown police released these pictures of the suspect. philadelphia police are looking for the man who placed a

skimming device on an atm. surveillance video shows the man installing the device back on september 29th. a customer later noticed the device. if you recognize the suspect, call philadelphia police. >> karen joins us now. you say a little warmer than it was yesterday morning. >> yeah. you feel it and the humidity is up a little bit too. i keep trying to fix it and i can't. let's take a look at storm tracker 6. we're dry through the area. let's go outside and see what it looks like. a fair amount of clouds but looking okay if you look towards the center city skyline right now. it's warm, it's muggy, it's staying that way for days. 68 degrees the current number. look at the dew point, it's into the 60s. once you hit 60 it's sticky and that's the way it feels out there. the winds are out of the south southwest. pressure is steady. ocean temperature is 69.

i think most areas stay dry. the best chance would be north of the city as you see more showers there. so you're going to see clouds mixing with some sunshine today, kind of the profile in the afternoon similar to yesterday with temperatures reaching the low 80s. at 9:00 a.m., 69. by lunchtime here in the upper 70s and 83 for your high today. even at 7:00 tonight, 76 degrees. and then tomorrow the front that tried to come through our area as a cold front lifts back up as a warm front and that's allowing it to get even warmer in the area tomorrow and even more humid. 85 degrees for your high. yes, that's 15 degrees above average. really feeling like summer. how about the eagles? not exactly feeling like football weather on sunday. you don't have to dress up for it. it's going to muggy with a stray shower.

mostly dry. watching tropical storm nate. we just had an update from the national hurricane center. winds still 45 miles per hour. we continue to watch the trajectory of this and tonight entering the caribbean sea, the gulf of mexico tomorrow looks like by sunday could make landfall near new orleans as a category 1 hurricane. by the time it reaches our latitude it will just be an area of low pressure bringing rain to us. we need the rain. very warm tomorrow 85. even more humid tomorrow. sunday clouds, a spotty shower here or there. 80 degrees. monday periods of rain on columbus day, 78. it's monday and tuesday we really feel the effects of nate, lingering rain on tuesday. 80 degrees for your high. still feeling muggy too. we could even have that rain last into wednesday morning. wednesday still warm though, 78 degrees. finally starting to turn cooler on thursday, 73. but that's still several degrees above average for this time of

taking a live look here out across center city. it's a lot more muggy than you might expect for it to be early october. it's going to get up to 83 degrees right now. it's 5:14 and 68 degrees. >> so much early morning construction these days, matt. >> oh, my goodness, our plates are full. we're keeping tabs on all these zones, and this gentleman in particular very closely as he works along route 23 right by 422. they're still wrapping up their overnight work and we're watching them closely. at this point route t 23 is restricted, route 422 restricted in the westbound direction. i think we're going to let him do his work in peace. we're going to move on the at this point. on the pennsylvania turnpike.

in bucks county they're working both ways near del val taking out the left lane. if you're headed towards the scudder falls bridge we've got work on 95. this is both directions one lane out of commission between route 29 and 579. that should last for about the next 45 minutes and we're watching work in burlington county at farmer's market drive without the right lane there until 6:00. if you're traveling between vineland and millville early this morning there's work on 55. southbound lane also out of commission here also until 6:00. you're getting the theme. we have restrictions in a bunch of spots for construction lasting until 6:00. they're still working on making repairs after that dump truck accident from wednesday along the ac expressway. left lanes still out here both ways in ac by the convention center. and out and about in delaware we've had restrictions all week

long over the bridge. those restrictions continue. it's this coming monday when that bridge closes for about 45 days. at that point 273 and churchman's road are going to be your alternates. >> tropical storm nate is roaring towards mexico's yucatan peninsula this morning. nate could reach the u.s. gulf coast as a hurricane over the weekend. officials in louisiana, alabama and florida declared states of emergency ahead of expected land fall early sunday. evacuations have begun on barrier islands. >> new this morning one boy was killed and another injured when he fell from a second floor balcony in north jersey. the 9-year-old died at the scene. the 13-year-old boy was air lifted to the hospital. he is in stable condition.

it's unclear what caused the railing to give way. officials say there were adults home at the time. harvey weinstein is taking a leave of absence from his own company. the new york times alleges decades of sexual harassment. eight women have received settlements over the past three decades. reports of weinstein's behavior was a known problem within his company and the movie industry and in a somewhat wild statement weinstein blamed his actions on the culture of the '60s and '7s pledged to get help. >> the sixers host on the boston celtics. joel embei. shut out the flyers in los angeles tonight and the debut of
