"action news" at 12:30 continues. with rick williams, sara bloomquist, and meteorologist, david murphy. >> hello again here are the stories we are following for you now on "action news" at 12:30. a man is accused of a deadly stabbing in salem county and we are live with the latest. the man is seen lurking outside after delaware home and police want to find him and cowboys running back ezekiel elliot finds himself once again kicked off the field. and the murder happened late last night in pennsville and police made an areceipt this morning. bob brooks is live outside of the pennsville police department. >> reporter: sara and rick he is 31-year-old dante specs. and he just walked out of the police department and he was not happy we were here. his hands were cuffed behind his

back. two members of the pennsville police department on either side according to police. this is 31-year-old dante spence the man that killed according to police another man yesterday. >> they say you stabbed a man and beat him over the head. >> that is none of your business buddy. >> after that exchange he was p. they got a call at 7:00 p.m. to locate the penn terrace apartments off meadow road and when the police arrived pence was not hard to find. >> he was walking around down will. >> he knew something was wrong and basically spoke to us about what occurred and advised of his rights and made statements and brought back here and processed and things are moving forward now. we are told there was an altercation between him and the victim a 45-year-old man.

the likely cause of death -- >> looks like he was stabbed and struck with a blunt object to the head. >> spence faces a variety of charges, the most significant is murder charge. and the name of the victim has not yet been released. bob brooks, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you bob. philadelphia police are looking for the suspect in an overnight stabbing, the 33-year-old man was attacked at oakland street and cotman avenue, he suffered a stab wound to the chest but got to safety a few blocks away. he is getting treatment at torresdale hospital. and police in wilmington are investigating after a woman says she saw a man lurking outside of her home and appearing into her window several times. the victim that did not want to be identified recently installed surveillance cameras at her home then caught the man for 45 minutes and at one point he

reading. and 58 in will tong and millville and 55 in cape may. we have seen decent winds through the region not as bad as yesterday but a 21 miles per hour wind in allentown and 13 in philadelphia. and you can shuffle them around for the afternoon. as we go through the rest of did at a high of 57 at 2:00 or 3:00. and 6:00, 54 and 9:00 i think we'll be down to 49, 48 degrees in philadelphia. so it will be cool and the good thing is that the breezes you feel now will have a tendency to drop off a bit through the evening. today's high is 57 and that is 5 degrees below average and tonight's overnight low past the trick or treating period down to the low 40s and a frost advisory in portions of the region overnight tonight.

and we'll get some more. 56 is the current temperature and chilly and winds 13 miles per hour. and could get gusts over the next several hours that go into the low to mid-20s. and satellite shows cloud cover starting to erode and more left over in south jersey and that won't be there fort entire day and we are looking at sun for the entire region. 56 in reading and trenton and 57 in philadelphia and 57 in millville and 59 in cape may. for trick or treating it looks to be chilly and this morning as you were out there with the parades they do in the school parking lots, not too bad and breezy and 50 and 6:00 tonight 54 degrees and by 9:00 we drop to 49 and the winds dip a bit and you don't have to worry about that so much. it's really a good idea to have layers on on the kids underneath the costumes with the temperatures dipping into the 40s.

as we roll through the rest of the afternoon 57 and then cascading down to 51 by 8:00 and 10:00, 47 degrees and 40 for theover night low in philadelphia and some suburbs get into the 30s and we have a frost advisory and one tonight into wednesday morning. in pennsylvania it's only the lehigh valley. and south jersey from northern burlington to rural parts of camden and gloucester and atlantic and cumberland. and tomorrow is cool a high of 56 and front is coming at us that will cloud us up and give us a sprinkle if the afternoon and evening. as the front gets past us warmer air on the side you'll see it here on the seven day. sunny and chilly and 57 degrees and bundle up a bit and not bad for trick or treating and it's dry. mostly cloudy skies and late sprinkle or shower can't be rule out and another high of 56. and then clouds and a sprinkle

he stood up to north jersey special interests nobody delivers more for south jersey than steve sweeney. to increase funding for our schools. he stopped christie's commuter tax, saving south jersey residents over 200 million dollars. and he led the charge to pass paid family leave. aarp applauded sweeney for freezing property taxes for seniors and cutting prices on prescription drugs. "i got to take my hat off to him. he's a man of his word." steve sweeney. because there's more work to do to get south jersey's fair share.
