5:00 a.m., on this monday, january 22. philadelphia is super bowl bound! >> say that again. >> super bowl bound! >> oh, the eagles proved you should never doubt the eagles or nick foles. >> the police department could not keep the eagles fans down, fans took to the streets and climbed slick poles. >> minutes after the game wrapped up, fans are buying their championship gear to show off the team spirit. >> we know you're tired and have to go to work and school, too, david murphy is off, karen rogers is in, and matt pellman has traffic. >> reporter: can't say i ever wanted to go to minneapolis, but i do now.

right, jennette? >> that's no surprise, i think the last of them are finally going home at 5:00 a.m. what an incredible night and amazing game. a lot of us didn't get a lot of sleep, all eyes on the super bowl and last night was proof you should not doubt the eagles. before the eagles game against the vikings was over, fans started streaming out to do what they do best. both young and old took to the streets to celebrate a blowout victory. thousands stormed cottman and frankford as the skies lit up green. fans chanted the eagles fight song. at broad and race it was a similar sight. people went wild and jumped on cars and stopped traffic. >> just moved to philadelphia today, from memphis, tennessee. >> reporter: look what you did? >> i'm a good luck charm. >> tom brady, no.

>> i grew up right there and this is what we did in 93, 97, this is our thing, philadelphia's thing, right? >> reporter: there are 6,000 people just in the mayfair section alone. police say they did break up a couple of fights and no arrests were made and all the grief in the world could not keep the fans off the light pole. the good news no arrests were made. hopefully that will be the case when we win the super bowl, can i say that, matt? >> they have a good chance, jennette. they could get redemption, too. despite the police department's rehe-- preemptive plan was not enough to keep the fans off the poles. the police department tweeted out a message, now comes a time in the night where we must warn everyone about the dangers of

"i used to be a prince. tightened zack ertz had a great play during the vikings game, caught a pass for 36 yards. maybe more incredible is the moment ertz' wife who plays on the u.s. soccer team found out the eagles are super bowl bound. >> fly eagles fly! >> the u.s. women's national soccer team tweeted out the video last night. julie ertz was not at the linc to cheer on her husband, her team had a game against den mash in california. the u.s. women's soccer team went on to beat denmark, 5-1.

good all around there. celebrating eagles win, bucks county native and grammy award singer pink will be at the game set to sing the national anthem before the super bowl. she tweeted out her excitement saying is this for real? >> it is indeed real. our eagles celebration continues in the next half-hour. two people are injured when a barrage of bullets are fired in south philadelphia.
