november 18. copies of evidence heard during the hearing. durham denied a request for an appeal. state election officials called an emergency teleconference on the issue sunday evening. north carolina governor pat mccrory wants the board to force a recount in durham county. the state board will certify statewide results for all other races in a public meeting tomorrow. state naacp said protest for north carolina governor pat mccrory are an attempt to overrule the will of the rockland sheriff's chief william barbera will address that issue during a march today. the rally will kick off at 5 pm at the state capital. wake county has full teacher is headed to court. devon ladd again is a student at athens high. they believe he had sex with a former female student and he was a teacher at west henderson high school and the girl was a student at that's will.

a homicide investigation underway after a man found shot dead inside a hotel room this after at the crossland economy studios on highway 52 last night. they have not released the victim's name or possible suspects. >> statesville police are looking for the person involved in a deadly shooting at a wendy's. this happened at the wendy's on raeford road. brandon ratliff virginia was killed. two other men were injured but they were not seriously hurt. police have yet to say what led to the shooting but they believe the shooter knew the victims and that the victims were targeted. raleigh police investigating a deadly motorcycle crash. this is near western boulevard and south wayland avenue last night. one person died. the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved. police have not said what may have caused the crash. students and staff central university of -- at center

looking ahead it looks like this week we may have some significant rain. one of the unfortunate things that happened is some computer models started to back off on the amount of rain. we are hoping in some places to get up to an inch but it will probably be like a quarter to half an inch. let's talk about the timing. very little rain. this afternoon potential for sprinkle. tomorrow in the morning, it makes for a messy commute. plan on that. start thinking about extra time for the commute tomorrow. wednesday during the day, 40% chance but overnight a 70% chance. in line of thunderstorms comes through. late wednesday and early thursday, maybe lingering precipitation. for the most part over by thursday. new cloud cover streaming in from the ahead of this band of rain. coming across the mississippi valley.
