went to a home in nearby north charleston... and barricaded himself inside. the "swat team" later found him dead ... inside. we're told "gist" is doing well after surgery...and is expected to recover. authorities in washington...say a gunman killed four people in a home before shooting himself after a long standoff. the mason county sheriff's office says the gunman had called 911 on to say he shot and killed hii family. a girl who survived has been taken to the hospital ..and was related to the victims. deputies say they negotiated with the man for about three hours before they entered the home and found the people dead. federal and local authorities in kansas are investigating a workplace shooting that left 3 people dead and 14 others injured.... we're now learning more about the shooting suspect's possible motive... deputies there say "cedric ford" was served with a... the "centers for disease control" released more details about zika infections in several pregnant women here in the u-s. the c-d-c says its confirmed 9 pregnant women with the "zika" virus in the u-s. all were infected while traveling to areas in latin america and the caribbean. of those cases...two women had healthy babies...two had miscarriages and two terminated their pregnancies. one child was born with severe microcephaly....a condition that leaves babies with abnormally small heads. the zika virus has been linked to thousands of those cases in brazil. the zika virus has many worried about travel pregnancy and their overall health but a doctor... with 35 years of experience with disease control programs and d-hec says... there's no need to panic. doctor "eric brenner" held an open
