happening now: as the marquette campus prepares for another school year... the university's police force has an important message for students about safety. pete zervakis is live with an alert for everyone living near campus. the marquette police department sent out a tweet saying officers are going door to door at off campus apartments and houses... telling students to make sure they lock their doors at all times. that might seem like basic advice. but according to mupd's daily log of calls... there were two reported burglaries just off campus this week. at both locations - in the area of 17th and kilbourne - the residences

a north this morning. he was cleared of murder after spending nearly three decades in prison. johnny small was set free after judge ruled he didn't get a fair trial. he was convicted of murder when was a teenager back 19-88. small is now back home... staying with a cousin. former penn st. football coach... jerry sandusky will take the stand today... trying to prove he was wrongly convicted four years ago of sexually abusing 10 boys.he claims his lawyers were ineffective. the 72-year-old
