thanks for thanks for joining us th afternoon. i'm vince vitrano. if you're just joining us-- here's a look at your top stories today. steven avery's at notified the wisconsin court of appeals she is seeking additional dna tests... and is looking for new evidence. in a motion just filed today... kathleen zellner asked the court to put avery's appeal on hold... while she pursues this new evidence. the chicago- based lawyer told the court "the results of the requested testing could result in mr. avery's conviction being conviction being overturned." avery and his nephew brendan dassey were both convicted in 2007 for the murder of freelance photographer teresa halbach.dassey's conviction was recently overturned by a
