are on time for now brendan dassey could be out of prison by fridaynight.dassey and his uncle steven avery were sentenced to life in prison for the rape and murder of teresa halbach in 2005. now....the state and dassey's attorneys are battling over whether he should remain behind bars. pete zervakis is live in columbia explain who has the final say. that decision now rests with the federal court of appeals in chicago. the federal judge who tossed out dassey's murder conviction over the summer- saying his confession was co-erced - has ruled he can leave this prison in portage while the state appeals that decision. yesterday... the same judge

drought is impacting christmas tree farmers in georgia.after nearly 2 months of no rain, the trees at many tram have had very little growth.no growth means no buisness for those farmers. if your scouting your perfect tree this year.... expect to pay about 50 bucks for a real tree. according to national christmas tree association.... that was mean average for the price of a real tree last year. the salvation army hopes you'll consider ringing bells for them this holiday season. if you're interested -- candidates can apply in person tomorrow at one of the salvation army locations. money raised by the red kettle
