last night near 26th and ruby. the officers returned fire, but no one was hit.the suspect was arrested after a brief foot chase.no one was milwaukee police still trying to figure out what led up to a double shooting on the city's near west side. and they are still looking for who did it, this morning. two men in their 20's suffered non -life threatening injuries after being shot at 36th and mt. vernon yesterday.no one has been arrested a south side alderman calling for bob donovan says his district faces issues like slow 9-1-1 responses, prostitution and mobile drug dealing. he and three other aldermen wrote a letter to police chief ed flynn calling for more officers in districts two and six. those calls upset common council president ashanti hamiliton. who says the aldermen are undermining a newly passed comprehensive policing stategy. that works." i don't care where he gets them from we just need more police down here to create a level of
