new this morning.. police investigating a deadly crash near 27th & capitol. it happened just before 10 last night. police attempted to stop a chevy impala for a traffic offense. the driver sped off heading north on 27th. the driver swerved into capitol.. striking another car and a light pole. a male passenger in the chevy was killed. six others were hurt but are expected to strong winds fanned the flames of a car fire in kenosha county...police say it happened on i-94 at county road m-l. you can see the wind shaking the d-o-t camera. deputies had to close three southbound lanes while the fire was put out. no one was hurt.

problems on the roads in waukesha county.. the sheriff's department responded to this crash yesterday. deputies tell us a minivan rolled over on i-94 near highway "f". as we head into winter.. it's an important reminder to be more careful on the roads and take your time. the pewaukee police department took to twitter yesterday to give a warning to drivers. they tweeted: "we have taken a lot of accidents today - especially on highway 16 - with the first freeze of the year." and sharing a link for safe winter driving ti. down! a lengthy investigation nets four arrests in a major drug bust in sheboygan.. these two men and two women have been arrested on felony charges for possession of heroin and cocaine. multiple informants told investigators that robert wilborn had been dealing cocaine and heroin for the past seven years in sheboygan. sheriff's investigators sent informants to buy drugs. "i hope the judges are going

of these things."two of the four have been arrested on six felony charges. if convicted on all of them, they could face more than 70 years in prison. an increase in violence among young people has inspired a local woman to change her community.tynnetta jackson established the solomon's outreach and urban learning sessions or "souls" organization three months ago. the group met today to discuss a plan of action: (("we're gonna hit the streets. there and touch peoples lives whether we have to feed them, clothe them, do whatever we can to make sure they know we do care.")) so far, jackson is working with eight churches in milwaukee county. she's looking to get more churches on board. in sherman park.. milwaukee police officers get involved in the community by playing a game of football.officers teamed up with kids and adults from the neighborhood. they

"he handed it to the lady in the backseat, says 'look at this' and some how or another

something the gun went off and discharged."authorities say the woman was alert and talking before an ambulance took her to the hospital. they say the bullet hit the seat-rest before it hit her, which may have stopped some of the impact. authorities say they have found a baby who was reported missing on thursday after her mother was shot to death in kansas. sophia gonzales was found in dallas.. an investigation led police to texas where they executed a search warrant and found the speaking out. "when the news came, it was a relief. it was amazing that my sister's not gone because that little baby is going to be a little of my sister. little piece of her is in sophia." police say two adults are in custody and are being interviewed.

police officers are injured after a shootout in brooklyn yesterday.the two officers responded to a report of a suspicious man in the hallway of a housing project building. police say while the officers were speaking to the man, a fight broke out between the three individuals. he strikes them both in the head -- causing a two-inch gash to the male and the female officer was also struck several times in the head sustaining contusions. both officers at this point fired at the struck several times and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene."police say they have not yet confirmed the suspect's identity.more local news on todays tmj four.
