new this morning: if you're shopping for holiday gifts, odds are you might get one of your packages from an online store. the national retail federation says more than 108 and a half million people logged on and shopped-- black friday through cyber monday... there's a chance thieves could help themselves to your purchases. pete zervakis is live in whitefish bay where ?more packages have been reported stolen! according to whitefish bay police... the package thefts

says anderson was reaching for a gun.police dash cam video has yet to be released. anderson's mother, linda says she is hoping to see the f-b-i enhanced video of the shooting during the meeting. breaking news just into the newsroom. former republican presidential hopeful ben carson-- has been tapped for the trump administration. he's president-elect donald trump's pick for the secretary of the department of housing and urban development. in a statement trump says carson has a brilliant mind and is passionate early this morning, a judge has ordered a hand recount in michigan's presidential results.. that'll begin by noon today. the ruling rejects an effort by state officials to wait two business days to get started hand-counting about 4-point-8 million ballots. now there's a higher chance that michigan could complete the count ahead of a december 13th deadline.

bill schuette, the trump campaign and super pacs have filed separate lawsuits asking state courts to prevent the recount. and a recount in wisconsin will ?continue for now. on friday-- we learned trump supporters filed federal lawsuit to stop the recount in the badger state. we checked with several municipalities in our area... and all said they will keep recounting ballots until they're told to stop by the courts. former green party presidential candidate jill stei statewide recount in pennsylvania to federal court. her team is asking a federal judge to force a recount on ?constitutional grounds?. president elect donald trump won pennsylvania's electoral votes on election day... and michigan and wisconsin went red, too. now that the first snow of the season has arrived -- it's begining to look a lot like christmas .and that means it's time for the canadian pacific railroad's holiday train.it's fast approaching.ann sterling

ahead. holiday train is rolling through townmaking stops in milwaukee, wauwatosa and beyond this week. this 1 thousand -foot train has 14 cars -- decked out in holiday lights and you can hear the live music.this train travels from canada and makes it's way through the upper midwest covered in those festive glowing lights and wisconsin is at the sturte- vant amtrak depot at 5:25 p.m. tonight ... before it makes its way to milwaukee's amtrak depot for a stop at 6:50 p.m. on tuesday --- the train heads to wauwatosa for a stop at the harwood ave. crossing ---- before moving on to hartland. and beyound.each stop is about half an hour long and is free -- although donations are encouraged rides are not available on the train, but it is lighted for its entire journey, so you

beyond wisconsin residents of gatlinburg, tennessee, are taking a first look at their homes ravaged by wildfires.the town is still closed to the outsiders, but some residents are now allowed to go and check on their houses.a massive wildfire burned hundreds of homes in the resort town last week. officials say they are still searching the area, so more victims could be discovered. rain is in the forecast this week.. which may help douse the devastating wildfires. a new york city corrections
