the 15 year old was killed yesterday evening-- shot inside her home... and right now police are trying to figure out who did this,the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. at 35th and silver spring drive.police say shots were fired from outside the family home and right now -- they don't know if the teen was at the wrong place -- at the wrong time. but -- they are investigating if there was a car involved and if someone was targeting the teen. the teens family is sending out this message this morning - too many kids losing their lives. no doubt many students here at john marshall will be shocked to hear their fellow classmate was killed. happening today - a former kenosha county sheriff's captain accused of sexual assault heads to court for his arraignment.the victim lived at the carey manor nursing

clarence mielke own the facility... and live in the lower level.that's where he is accused of sexually assaulting a 50-year-old woman more than once. mielke had been a sheriff's captain for kenosha county. he retired in 'good standing' back in 2000. he faces up to 40 years in prison. spurred by recent deaths at the milwaukee county jail, the county board of supervisors is considering a policy change to require outside investigations for in-custody deaths. thursday.four people have died at the milwaukee county jail donald trump is returning to wisconsin this morning... now as the president-elect. trump and vp-elect mike pence will rally in west allis to thank badger state voters. that's where pete zervakis is live with a preview. tonight's rally in west allis is part of president-elect donald trump's "thank you" tour. he's been traveling the

official announcement this morning. former democratic presidential candidate bernie sanders stopped in kenosha yesterday for a taping of "all in with chris hayes". it aired on m- s-n-b-c.sanders talked about trade policy... the old chrysler plant closing in kenosha and the election of donald trump as our next president. state lawmakers aren't too thrilled with a recommendation from the department of natural resources saying admission fees should be raised. democrats say they're afraid that move could make parks expensive for families. republicans removed all state support for wisconsin's parks in the 2015 budget, leaving the parks to survive on fees alone. they raised admissions and camping fees by three to eleven dollars depending on the park. there will be ?new eats the next time you head to the casino. "bella italiana" opens at potawatomi today. the new restaurant will offer a traditional italian menu and you can bet its going to be packed with pasta and authentic sauce. the

near 0. under a clear sky tonight, lows will be in the single digits, above and below zero, with to -15. beyond wisconsin now - a lufthansa flight got the all clear this morning after it was diverted to j-f-k airport following a bomb threat. lufthansa received the phone threat while the flight was traveling from houston to frankfurt, germany.passengers were all evacuated from the aircraft. officials say nothing suspicious in california - a wild chase ended with a ?shock. police were trying to capture a suspect in a stolen s-u-v. the driver tried to evade police by driving the wrong on the highway.. after 90-minutes he decided to ditch the call and hid behind a wall.. a short foot chase ended with the suspect shocked by a stun gun. a real-life grinch has been caught stealing christmas lights in iowa... and it was caught on camera.you can see

and taking a live look outside.. firefighters in new brunswick canada were a little out of their element when they got this call: a moose was stranded in a frozen river and needed help! for an hour and a half, three firefighters broke
