milwaukee police tell us this morning that they are still looking for the person who shot and killed a 15-year-old girl on the city's the shooting happened yesterday evening.this morning, ann sterling joins us live from john marshall high school where the teen was a student. family members say melanie johnson was a good kid and she on track to graduate from john marshall high school early. the 15r yesterday evening-- shot inside her home... and right now police are trying to figure out who did this,the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. at 35th and silver spring drive.police say shots were fired from outside the family home and right now -- they don't know if the teen was at the wrong place -- at the wrong time. but -- they are investigating if there was a car involved and if someone was targeting the teen. the teens family is sending

zero, with wind chills to -15. today a-t-f officials will release their findings, after investigating that deadly warehouse fire in oakland. the december 2nd fire at the so called "ghostship" warehouse killed 36 investigators still have not announced a cause for the fire. city officials admit the warehouse which was housing an art collective hasn't been inspected in nearly 30 years. the city's fire chief says budget cuts and hiring freezes hampered the department's prevention efforts. two milwaukee women pleaded not guilty to charges in the death of a 7- year- old boy. court records show mary martinez punched trevion winningham with a closed fist multiple times on november 28th. the next morning he was

to clear snow in your alley. starting today, the fee to get a snow plow license will drop from 50-dollars to just 10- bucks. the city of milwaukee does not plow alleys within the city. currently there are only two companies licensed to offer plowing services in public city alleys. preparations underway for the opening of "slice of ice" at red arrow park. the rink opens at three this afternoon...

the county board of supervisors is considering a policy change after recent deaths at the county jail. the change would require outside investigations for in-custody deaths. the board will vote on the change thursday.four people have died at the milwaukee county jail this year. just into our news room... major league baseball is planning to ban bullying and hazing. it's part of a new collective bargaining agreement between players an the proposal specifically focuses on initiation rituals including making rookies dress up as women... something many teams take part in. other hazing acts that have been banned include making players consume alcohol, drugs or "undesirable unwanted substances. it's important to note... not all initiation rituals are banned... only ones the league deems dangerous or offensive. things are looking up in the milwaukee housing market.for the fourth consecutive month,
