a state republican wants to require all high school students participating in extracurricular activities to be subject to random drug testing.representative joel kleefisch's proposal is one of several coming from a task force he convened looking at ways to combat heroin use. the proposal would also require random testing for students who park vehicles on school grounds.some school district have implemented similar policies. the national highway traffic safety administration officially kicked off its "drive over" campaign today.the national campaign is an effort to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. last year 259 people were killed in alcohol related traffic accidents nationwide during the holiday season. "almost a third of all the traffic related fatalities on our roads are the result of drunk driving. and 100 percent of those, 100 percent could be prevented." n-h-t-s-a wants

white ovals.juno launched on august fifth, 2011 from cape canaveral, florida. it reached the planet last july.right now, juno is on a 53-day orbit around jupiter, so the next flyby will be in february. uber is testing its self-driving vehicles in san francisco.the ridesharing company moved forward with its tests without the blessing of the california d-m-v.state law requires companies receive approval before putting self- driving cars on public roads. uber believes it doesn't need to get approval because its drivers will be present in the vehicles. apple's much-hyped airpods are finally available online.but if you're looking to get them

it only takes a couple of minutes for exposed skin to get frost bite in this kind of cold. so be sure to cover as much skin as possible. and be careful not to put your cold skin next to a heater, or in hot water. a lot of people end up with burns trying to city of milwaukee buildings, such as libraries, to warm up during regular business hours. area leaders also have a warning about warming up your car during this cold snap. milwaukee mayor tom barrett urged people to stay in their car while it's running. "do not leave your car running unless you're in it. this is the time of year when we also see an increase in auto thefts because so many individuals leave their car running to
