and i'm allison kropff. we're staying on top of breaking news out of lutz. all lanes of i-275 are closed right now. 10 news reporter emerald morrow is live at the scene.. emerald, why have the lanes been shut down for so long? - when there are injuries or like in this case when there is a fatality...investigat ors have to take the time they need to take to gather all the evidence - so that's why they have been out here all night...even if some of the road closures are an inconvenience - in this case, there are lots of questions investigators need answers to - we're told this van that's being towed away made a sudden stop while going down southbound 275 - and that caused the semi that was behind it to crash into it - so investigators have to take time to figure out what made the van stop like it did - at this point we know that alcohol

working hard to get last minute voters in iowa. with the caucus less than a week away, bernie sanders and hillary clinton took part in a town hall meeting on monday. candidates were asked questions about their campaigns. clinton defended her experience, while bernie sanders talked about his views on women's health. on the republican side, donald trump and ted cruz are nearly tied in iowa. the candidates will have a debate on thursday. right now.. seven deputy recruits and a training officer are out of a job after a test cheating scandal rocks the pinellas county sheriff's office. these are messages between training officer eric

cook. they used to work together at the pasco county sheriff's office. biddle offers to give cook info to ace the pinellas county training tests.. sends it to his wife's email and warns not to share it with others, so he doesn't get busted by internal affairs. the sheriff says cook did use it to pass, and help 6 others cheat. they were fired and biddle resigned. it's frustrating for the sheriff that people sworn to uphold the law, have violated the public's trust. it's up to the justice standards commission if they're suspended or revoked. walt disney world two former employees claim the entertainment giant purposely hired less expensive immigrant workers to replace americans. sarah hollenbeck is center sarah, 250 in orlando were recently laid off. employees who filed

in tampa say they were forced to train their replacements before being let go. disney denies the allegations, saying 95 of those workers were relocated and several others left voluntarily. but leo perrero and dena moore accuse disney and two global consulting companies-- hcl and cognizant --- knowingly brought in foreign workers to replace them, even providing those immigrants temporary visas. the employees suing say they want to show america what is happening right under our noses. disney says they follow all visa rules, and the facts in this suit are misrepresented. sarah hollenbeck, 10news wtsp this is what people saw over the weekend at port saint joe up in the panhandle. instead of shells, one couple saw what looked like thousands of starfish up and

temperature changes or recent cases of red tide could have caused the starfish to wash ashore. fwc officials plan to study the area now. check this out, we aren't the only one feeling the effects of these cold temperatures. a team with the clearwater marine aquarium found nearly 30 sea turtles who needed to be rescued from the cold. unfortunately, eight of them could not be saved. experts say since sea turtles are cold-blooded, they take in the temperature of their surroundings. a cold turtle is unable to swim or function properly. you can see the turtles at the aquarium. you've heard of the chicken crossing the road, but this is quite different. take a look at this guy! the transit commission of ecuador found him stuck on the side of a highway. he had a rough time trying to cross
