good morning, it's i'm allison kropff. and i'm ian reitz. we all know driving around in hillsborough county can sometimes be a big mess. well, this morning, the county could get 600 million dollars to help fix its ongoing transportation problems. 10news reporter

tampa. emerald, 600 million is a huge chunk of money, but commissioners say that still won't be enough. - if the county really wants to solve its transportation problems, commissioners say they really need 13 billion dollars. - that's a long way from the 600 million they could be getting today...but commissioners say they've got to start somewhere if we want to see our roads get better. - so, this morning, the commissioners will vote to get that money to pay for projects in several key areas including: maintenance, safety and congestion relief. - so if the proposal passes, we'll start seeing work done to widen roads, improve some of the bad intersections in the county, and to put in better sidewalks around your kids' schools - this 600 million dollars will be spent over the next 10 years, and commissioners hope to secure funding

share payments. - but there's some criticism of this plan...including lack of transparency, the cost versus benefit for taxpayers and the lack of money for public transportation. - commissioners say they've been upfront about the plan...and as far as mass transit...they say there would have been money for that if the go hillsborough plan had passed earlier this year. transportation in tampa bay is a pretty complicated issue, and coming up at 6:30, i'm looking into why even with this 600 million, the problems in the area could get even worse in the years to come. back to you. a cnn/ orc poll out shows close contests between hillary clinton and donald trump in the crucial state of well as north carolina and ohio. the republican nominee goes into tonight's showdown as the underdog...having lost support among women voters amid multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment. clintons campaign says she's ready to tackle questions surrounding the endless stream of hacked dnc emails... the latest batch published by wikileaks showed aides mocking former rival bernie

commerical claiming it puts edibles in kids hands and dispensaries by schools. butted to morgan tells 10news that between this morgan tells 10news that between this election and the last.. he estimates he's spent nearly 10 million dollars of his own money. dr. spencer insists "no on 2" is not receiving money from "big pharma" for its campaign. police officer anthony green found himself on the other side of the law for the second time. green was arrested when he was found asleep behind the wheel on gulf boulevard early tuesday morning. he was also arrested for d-u-i in 2009. research shows being busted for dui but keeping your badge is common nationwide, but chief holloway says officers like green will be suspended without pay from now on through the court process.

morning, here are some of the stories we're staying on top of for you. hillary clinton and donald trump face off tonight in las their third and final presidential debate. both candidates will try to take the focus away from their looming controversies....tru mp's multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment and clinton's so-called quid-pro-quo with the fbi over her email da less than three weeks to the election, the latest cbs news poll has clinton leading trump by nine points nationally. instead of watching the debate at home, you can watch it in a movie theater. regal cinemas across the country will be screening the final presidential debate for free. if you go, you'll get a free small soda if you buy popcorn. there are several theaters here in the bay area showing the debate. we posted them on w-t-s-p dot com. the debate starts at 9:00. hillsborough county

for transportation. it if passes, it would mean 600 million dollars for transportation projects here in the area. some of the money would go toward safety improvements like new signals and better intersections. you can have the chance to spend halloween night in dracula's castle. it's the first time since 1948 anyone has slept in the transylvania fortress. it's actually called bran castle and two people will get to sleep there on october 31st thanks to a promotion by air b- n- apparently be "wined and dined" and then left alone to lie down in red velvet-trimmed coffins just as dracula did in the horror novel that made him popular. contestants were asked to use their "vampire wit" to image what they'd say to count dracula if they met him. the winners will be flown to

a big surprise for a driver on us- 19. when a near 6 foot long snake appeared from under his hood. during rush hour traffic. tim mokwa was on his way home from work when he first spotted the reptile. by the time he pulled over into a local walmart parking lot. the entire snake was out on his hood. the snake managed to slip back into his car before he was able to have it removed.
