doors last time that they insided they absolutely had to host it again for tonight's final show off between the two candidates. it should be interesting to see what they have to say tonight. a lot of people hoping that they talk more about the issues. the stage is set in las vegas and tonight is going to be crucial for donald trump as he slides in the polls. his aides are strongly encouraging him to stick to the issues. on the table debt, immigration, the economy, the to be president. these are all strong topics for the billionaire businessman as he uses his final debate as a lifeline for his floundering campaign. >> what he needs do is pivot and start talking about his dreams and hopes for america. we have not seen that and probably will not see that because right now he is making it a race to the bottom.

accusers against bill clinton including speary theory. >> according to the "new york times," the candidates families reportedly won't shake hands as they enter the arena. billionaire owner of the dallas mark cuban will be hillary clinton's guest. trump plans to bring president obama's brother. hazmat crews were called to clean up waste after police in georgia say a dnc illegally dumped sewage into a storm drain. they found toilet paper on the road and a foul smell. the dnc says they will make sure this doesn't happen again. as his time of getting president gets closer to ending, president obama hosted the italian prime minister and his wife for a dinner. it was a star-studded event. comedian jerry seinfeld was there. gwen stefani was there and

during the event hailing ties between the u.s. and italy. >> in the immortal words of a great italian american, yogi berra, it ain't over till it's over. >> about 400 guests showed up to the obama administration's final state dinner. there are new warnings this morning about kids and codeine. the american academy of pediatrics says to avoid it all together because of dangerous side effects and dr. rachel dockins from johns hopkins says codeine is prescribed not only for pain but as an ingredient in cough medicine. >> it can make you sleepy. sometimes that helps families when their child is coughing. >> she says if your child is prescribed codeine be sure to ask a lot of questions.

mosquitoes testing positive for the zika virus in the miami beach area. officials say it's in a place that used to be a zika transmission zone. some parts of miami beach are an active zone this morning. in florida more than 1,000 people have reported getting the virus, including some here in the bay area. right now crews in southern colorado are fighting a off this wildfire right here. five homes have been destroyed in the fire. hundreds of families are still out of their and crews say the fire has breached more than 25 square miles. they discovered the flames started when the powerful winds blew a metal building into a power line. this is disturbing to hear this morning. an employee cafeteria at a walt disney hotel was closed after roaches and fruit flies were found. they found 14 live roaches near

it went into a shootout and the bolts came out with a win. the bucs are preparing for this weekend's match-up against the 49ers without veteran vincent jackson. the wide receiver has been placed on the injured reserve after tearing his acl. looks like he's gonna be out the rest of the season. new video this morning out of west virginia. take a look at this sinkhole. it destroyed a road. it's about seven to deep. crews have no idea what caused it, so they are not able to make any repairs just yet. the good thing is it's not near any homes, so nobody is in danger. this is so creepy. when you go into a haunted house you expect that everything is gonna be safe, right? well, in wisconsin one house has something that's a bit unsettling. terror on the fox has been terrifying people for 20 years. well, a recent remodel of the house found two real human skeletons.

[ inaudible ] >> when we pulled these caskets out we discovered there were skeletons in there. >> the 19th century coffins were donated years ago. up until this season the caskets have been tucked away in storage. staff members were getting ready for the remodel and found those caskets. the real bones were the fake bones. >> weird. >> that is creepy. >> yeah. i think i think they may have been medical skeletons from years past. really odd. >> i mean, you expect everything to be safe. >> right. >> real bones. what if the zombies are real? look at that right there. law enforcement caught up with her. she tried to run away from the scene. what's unbelievable is no one was hurt. >> thank goodness. >> they are not gonna move out while the damage is fixed on their house. >> serious damage to it. >> yeah. you see how significant the damage was. nobody was hurt. we have had a busy morning on bay area roads already. a couple issues to let you know before you head out and drive to work this morning. back over to road warrior nothing as crazy as we what we just saw in the video. good morning to you. it is just about 6:14 on your wednesday morning and in pinellas county there is a new accident in st. petersburg. it's on 49th street north and 43rd avenue north. there is a southbound lane blocked there on 49th street. this is a hit-and-run accident. so there will be one vehicle there involved, but police are

lanes thaw are seeing brake lights, that's where we're starting to pick up just a little bit. now, your drive time is nine minutes to 57 to 275 -- 75 to 275. not seeing any congestion. i will keep an eye on your drive times for you. back to the maps in pasco county, things are looking much better on i-75 as you head south through wesley chapel. there is an accident in the shoulder before state road 64, but earlier this morning all lanes were bloc lane blocked. luckily now again it's in the shoulder but your drive time is 25 minutes from -- [ inaudible ] your drive time along the i-4 corridor is 15 minutes from polk parkway to 75 in tampa. good morning sarasota and manatee counties. things are quiet for you. no issues along the i-75

roads, be sure to send me an email. i am your road warrior and i will help you with any traffic safety issues. email me at all right. we stay rain free today. looking great out there. the only shower activity we are seeing on stormtracker 10 is near the i-95 corridor. that is not going to be any big issue for us. what we may get out of this, a sprinkle or two. overall, we are off to another quiet start this morning. looking over lakeland, nothing going on t even the little patches of fog we were seeing yesterday, we haven't picked up on with any of our cameras this morning and unlikely at this point you're gonna be dealing with that. what you will see comfortable temperatures out the door this morning. anywhere from 63 in brooksville to 75. so a little bit of a range. 75 coming from st. petersburg right now with our inland areas largely a little bit cooler. 69 in frostproof. through the day today we start to increase our cloud cover, but no big swings in our rain chances.

we are track this frontal boundary to the north. for today it's not going to be impacting us. it's going to stay to the northwest and we will continue to see the northeast winds a little bit lighter than yesterday. one to two foot seas and a light to moderate chop in the bay from time to time. ?? nicole is no threat to land. this has hung on for a long time. 65-mile-per-hour winds post-tropical storm. so feeling a little less tropical than yesterday. the dew points have gone down a smidge. so not a big difference. it's not feeling crisp. it's not feeling cool out there. but that changes as we head towards the weekend. for today though a little bit on the warm side. maybe a touch on the humid side. you may feel that a little bit this afternoon. high temperatures in the upper 80s. so a warm afternoon.

>> oh, nice. >> reporter: you won't find them here. >> each is different and beautiful. >> reporter: in a tiny workroom you will find some petal pushers and stem snippers, blossoming volunteers. >> you did a great job. >> reporter: random people assembling random stems for random acts of flowers. a group flowers into beautiful bouquets. >> not many people can spend the hours that we spend here playing with flowers. >> reporter: this morning this group started with empty vases and some random flowers that were donated to this group. by lunchtime they had 125 beautiful bouquets. if that impresses you, check out the chalkboard. in the last three years they have made over 35,000 bouquets. but they are not staying here. they need to be delivered, along with some smiles. >> hi.

this plan would pump $600 million into transportation projects over the next decade. commissioners say this is not enough to support the growth we are expecting to see in the years to come? >> reporter: every single year we get 32,000 more people moving into hillsborough county, so of course that means more people traveling on our roads and county commissioners say we do not have enough money to support all of this growth. in fact, commissioners say we really need the problems. but that's not happening anytime soon, so right now they say they just have to work with what they can get. if they agree to pass the $600 million plan, you're gonna start seeing work done all over the county. 340million as opposed to relieving congestion in the area which includes widening some roads. the money would also go towards improving intersections, adding traffic signals and sidewalks and resurfacing streets, but there has been a lot of

the group sunshine citizens, which has criticized other transportation plans in the area, says the county is rushing to pass this before the election without enough public input. they say it doesn't feel right and there should be a little more vetting before commissioners take a vote. they are also upset that there is no money for mass transit. something they say the county desperately needs if we really truly want to improve transportation for everyone. now, today's vote is going to happen right here at a county center morning. the meeting starts at 9:00 if you want to attend. >> the mass transit issue, you mentioned there is no money, how do commissioners defend a transportation plan without that included? >> reporter: they say there was money included in the hillsborough plan. however, that was shut down earlier this year. however, critics say there is still no excuse for that and that we really need a very comprehensive transportation

now. back to our maps. in pasco county i-75 passing state road 54 is back to normal. there was a really bad accident there earlier this morning that was blocking all lanes. polk county no issues for you. i just checked with fhp. polk parkway and state road 60 and i-4 are looking good. same thing in sarasota and manatee counties. i-75 is in the green. you can see at 66 miles per hour there as you're pass fruitville road. ashley. off to a nice quiet start with -- look at some of these numbers. great, great start to your wednesday. we are seeing 75 in st. pete, but everybody else is cooler. we are at 66 land o'lakes, which is a really great start to your day, and 71 degrees in tampa, and in lakeland right now we're looking really good. a little bit of cloud cover out there this morning. no major issues. in fact, we are going to be showing no rain for the entire bay area and what little bit we

corridor, and that will be falling apart before it works its way into our area. later on this afternoon there is a chance we could get a quick little sprinkle in here. overall, the trend is we're gonna see a lot of sunshine in the morning. isolated sprinkle chances. i don't even want to say showers. that may be a bit too much. you may see a couple of droplets on your wind shield. that's going to be about it for today. from there a good amount of sunshine from time to time during the afternoon. we may get sometimes where it's a little more clouded over. w day where we actually get more sunshine than anything else. temperatures in the 60s this morning. then we warm up nicely as we head through your lunch hour. we are expecting numbers anywhere from about 80 to 83, and from there we hit our peak at 88 today in tampa. but then those temperatures will start to cool off and that sunset is backing up a little bit day by day. by 7:00 much of the area at least inland back below the 80- degree mark. it will take a little bit
