kropff. and i'm ian reitz. right now, we're on top of a awful story out of hillsborough county. we know at least four people were killed in an overnight crash. it happened just before 10 last night on martin luther king in tampa...right near coconut palm drive. 10news reporter emerald morrow is live where this all took place. emerald, there are reports of a sports car event that was going on nearby. was that related to this crash? we're waiting on fhp officials to tell us if at least some of the cars were somehow connected to that event...and if that can point us to a cause. but right now, what we do know is at least four people lost their lives here on this street. loking at the

really give an accurate depiction of what happeed. but if you look at this'll understand right away why this was so tragic. you've got at least one car that caught on fire after the crash. and the other totaled cars all over the street. there were dozens of emergency officials here tending to the scene. a job much easier than tending to the broken hearts of the loved ones here mourning the loss of all these lives gone too soon. we're starting to get a few leads as to who some of the victims might be. once we have any new information, we'll share it with you...and of course, i'll be back at 6 with another update. back to you. this is absolutely not what you want to hear about a highway many of you will drive on this morning. the problem is too many drivers are distracted by their cellphones. the interstate is "132-miles-long" and runs between tampa and daytona beach. today-- another tampa bay city steps up to the plate-- to pitch their town as the best site for a new tampa bay rays stadium. the mayor of oldsmar says the team would be foolish to pass up on their small town. 10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live along racetrack road, near tampa bay downs. sarah, traffic is a big concern. can a town as small as oldsmar handle traffic and the size of this town-- with just 14-thousand people, is one reason people thought a stadium in oldsmar could never happen. but the mayor tells me with a few improvements to roads here, he doesn't think traffic would be a problem. if you've ever driven through oldsmar during rush hour, you know the feeling of sitting

light in traffic. although the town is small, mayor doug bevis says 50-thousand people flock here every day for work. the roads-- he argues-- are ready to take on the extra thousands of baseball fans, with just a few upgrades. he also has high hopes for a passenger train on the existing railroads that run through oldsmar connecting downtown st pete, to clearwater, largo, safety harbor, oldsmar and downtown tampa. bee-vis says one thing is for sure: traffic would be less of an issue here than it already is in st pete for fans getting to tropicana field. this site in oldsmar

hillsbrough pinellas line. the mayor and an architecture firm will unviel the very first pictures and video renderings of the stadium later today. we mentioned this site straddles the county line-- well that actually might be the best selling point for this site over all the others. it all boils down to more money-- i'll explain why that is at 6-30. ian.... only on 10 news, a 16 year old boy is now facing charges as an adult.. accused of molesting a 6 year old boy in a store bathroom. and now we have learned that 6 more victims have come forward. 10news is now naming teenager daniel mcnulty because he's charged with felony molestation in adult court. police say since the six year old boy was touched in this tarpon springs tj maxx bathroom... last month two kids from hillsborough county and 4 from pasco are

by mcnulty. the latest victim's mom is outraged. mcnulty, who we're told has some form held in juvenile jail until he goes before a judge in adult court next month. a crazy story out of california this morning. nearly 500 students at clayton valley charter school have been out sick this week because of a flu outbreak. the school did send home a letter to parents warning them of the outbreak. technology is now taking over the kitchen. there are new devices that measure your food and even do most of the cooking for you. matt van horn is the co-creater of

the helpers will open extra cash registers. they will even have candy canes and stickers. today is a great day at the clearwater marine aquarium. in just a few hours, a rescued sea turtle will be released at the beach. a few weeks ago xeno was found about 15 miles offshore, floating and unable to dive. the rescue team found about 5 pounds of a shell like material in her system. she was given some vitamins and antibiotics and quickly recovered. she will be released at 11:00 near the sandpearl resort. if you enjoy dressing your dog up.. you won't want to miss the howl o ween at the don cesar hotel later today. the event benefits the humane society of pinellas county. you can bring your dog there from 5 to 6:30 p-m for some tricks and treats .. even doggie massages! the hotel will also feature a pets in- room dining menu. halloween may not be until next

if you are just joining us, here are some stories we are staying on top of. at least four people are dead after several cars crashed into one other on m-l-k boulevard in tampa late wednesday night. this was the scene near coconut palm drive east of the tampa bypass canal. the road is now open, but it was closed for several hours overnight. right now, investigators are trying to figure out what caused the crash.

the city of oldsmar is sharing its vision for a baseball stadium development as an option for the first time. one major concern is traffic. it's already an issue in both st. pete and in oldsmar.. but the mayor says that wouldn't cause a problem for fans trying to get to the stadium, according to the city's plans. just 12 days to election day. hillary clinton campaigns with first lady michelle obama in north carolina...while donald trump will be in the battleground state of ohio. on wednesday the republican nominee stood by claims, captain khan would still be alive had ee the comments came hours after the father of the fallen muslim american soldier, who died in iraq, campaigned for clinton in virginia. every now and then there's a picture that makes the rounds on the internet and gets people fired up. --remember the debate about whether the dress was black and blue or gold and white? --now there's this debate...or optical illusion that everyone is arguing over.

of charlotte, north carolina. this is michelle fadel. everybody in her neighborhood knows she loves christmas, and she has inspired them to celebrate with her early. she has terminal cancer and unfortunatly she may not make it to december. a local company stopped by her house and set up all these decorations for her. her story has inspired people all over the country. michelle has already received hundreds of cards offering support
