carson and i have seen some terrible ads attacking our mom dana young. for things she never did. it hurts because mom is cool. she is caring, she works hard. whenever something is not right mom is on it. trust us we know from experience. mom put her career on hold for us. to raise our family. she is a role model for everyone in our community. i'm proud of you mom, we both are. good afternoon. i am allison kropff. i am 10news morning anchor ian reitz. a man hunt is over for this man right here. he was wanted in connection to an ambush style shooting that killed two officers 20 minutes apart in iowa today.
not been released. >> we are hearing those names in a news conference at this point. you are seeing that on your screen. this is a live look at where the news conference is taking place. detectives are gathering video in that area and they are going door-to-door and looking for answers.>> reporter: the man hunt for a suspect in the shooting death of two iowa police officers is over. 46-year-old scott green arrested this morning in suburban des moines. the search for green began not long after two officers were found fatally shot in their patrol cars overnight. investigators are calling it an ambush. >> it doesn't look like there was interaction between the officers and whoever shot them. >> the first officer was found dead after 1 am local time in urbandale, iowa. the second 20 minutes later 2 miles away in des moines.>> that is the best we got.
