"fox5" melanie alnwick live in upper moreboro he with the story, mel. good morning, today is the deadline for state audit ors to complete that investigation into allegations of grade fixing in order to boost graduation rates. so the night before the investigation is scheduleded to drop that is when "fox5" obtained this email isn'tly showing that pgps eployee claims schools were sharing information on what files cleanup before auditors arrived. and they say they found some students who did fraud without required credits. david sure write is one school board member that brought initial complaint. >> and it's clear that a lot of different high schools were talking to each other about what investigators were looking for and what they should be looking into. >> the fact that records were altered not only shows that one initial accusations

true but what lengths are they willing to go to cover it up. really i think it proves the initial accusation where accurate. >> and now prior investigation found no substantiation to the claims and three school board members and ask the state board of education to take a look alleged widespread systemic corruption coming from the top. that new investigation began last august and school ceo maxwell says claims of systemic corruption are false and politically motivated and though he acknowledges investigators may find some individuals who acted inappropriately. and now we don't know today what dime that investigation is scheduled to close and when that report will be delivered to prince george county schools and state board of education but there is a lot on the line here. of course, the allegations if proved true could affect career of kevin maxwell. if the aelss are proven false the other nine school board members said the three that brought the the allegations
