we'll start with breaking news from rockville. a pedestrian was struck overnight near the intersection of 355 and east middle lane. rockville pike was closed for several hours but has since reopened. fox5 still waiting to hear from first responders on the victim's condition. and also what may have led to the accident. fox5 also following a developing story from annapolis. around 11:50 last night fire crews responded to a 911 call to find this, a driver plowed their pickup truck into the side of a building. happened on eagle wood road. two people were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. no word though on how they were injured. one victim was found outside the building. a second had to be removed from the damaged building. the anne arrundel county fire department has not said if the driver was among those hospitalized. wisdom. >> time right now is 4:30. the house and senate republicans have reached a deal on their tax deal and could have it to the president by next week. president trump says americans could see tax cuts by february. critics
heavily benefit the rich. chuck schumer wants the vote delayed until doug jones is sworn in january. president trump wants to play for the border wall by trimming surveillance costs and freezing the pay of federal office at the department of homeland security. he wants to where offset some s by having the dhs decrease its funding for technology by $175 million. the details are still uncertain because the information is coming from a whistle-blower. let's talk about the latest on the russia probe. the deputy attorney general rod rosenstein grilled on 90 pages of text messages between two fbi officials assigned to the probe criticizing president trump who was campaigning at the time. some lawmakers say the messages are evidence that the investigation is biased against the president.
this morning montgomery county police admit they could have done a better job in the case of a missing teenager who went to walt whitman high school. the case ended in the death of 17-year-old navid sepehri. he was found dead sunday night several hours after his father reported him missing. police say they should have taken that missing persons report that navid's dad first let them know their son didn't come home. they say anything they learn may affect future policies. police are searching for this man, 32-year-old selvin chocooj of oxon hill he's an uber driver accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger. the victim gemicka said he fondled her near capitol hill. want to stay in the district with troubling allegation. a woman facing charges of voyeurism.

again and we got snowflakes flying north and west of town along the i-81 corridor, winchester about to see some snow flurries, maybe up towards hagerstown, cumberland looks like they passed through you. don't be shocked in d.c. if some of those don't try and slide across. you can see more and more snow flurries have popped up and they're trying to progress eastward. good news, even if we see some flurries not expecting any accumulation in the d.c. region. 25 to 35 as kids get off to the bus stop. those flakes will not close your schools today. warmer than yesterday but gusts upward of 30 miles an hour possible later today so be ready for that. do still dress warm even though we won't be as cold as yesterday. 45 the daytime high today. we're back down tomorrow to 37 degrees. we'll have a couple of systems nearby but not close enough to bring any major concerns with snow but could bring a few light snow flurries or showers to the region tomorrow afternoon. saturday we tur
we get up to 46 degrees. temperatures actually above normal by sunday at 49 and then look at next week. early next week highs approaching 60 degrees. yes, monday it comes with clouds and a few showers but by tuesday a little bit more sunshine, 58 degrees. temperatures start going back down next wednesday with a high of only 40. over to erin for traffic. >> 4:56. keeping an eye on the roads. we have some emergency road work you need to be aware of. this is in maryland just outside the beltway. powder mill road southbound before floral drive emergency road work blocking one lane so as you make your way out just use a little caution. you can still get by new hampshire avenue nice and quiet. top side of the beltway clear in both directions inner loop and outer loop. 95 we're wide opened to the icc. the entire stretch to the baltimore beltway pleasant right now. same story on 295 baltimore-washington parkway. as you make your way out use some caution. there are some alternate routes for you. 355 this is ongoing road work closing both directions of 355 at monocacy river bridge. take buckeys
