three teenagers on the side of the road killing two. an s.u.v. hit them while they were working on highway 421 in harnett county near mcneil mill road saturday. a third was critically hurt. family members say they had gone to a nearby gas station to get drinks and snacks and were on the way home. jessica schark said the car came out of nowhere slamming into her sister. >> i went up the road and she was on the ground and truck sped off. amber: the victims are 13-year-old jennifer schark a middle school student and 16-year-old kyle strait, a high school student. the school district is bringing in grief counselors tomorrow to each school. barbara: it was a cold night for some fayetteville residents who lost power. about midnight a car crash knocked out power in one area.
