((jen)) and i'm jennifer epstein. those stories in a minute, but now, a first look at 3 your chilly forecast... with dave. 3 3 3 3 3 a developing story right now for tampa drivers. if you're hitting the road within the hour... there's a big detour you need to know about on i-275 3 for the past five hours... cars have been detoured from the end of the howard frankland bridge onto

detour should last at least another hour. right now, workers are doing a big shift to the northbound lanes: they will shut down the old lanes and open the new ones. the old lanes were narrow, winding and had dips in them, the new ones will be wider, straighter and even. this project started in 20-12. but to drivers, it feels like it started eons ago: 3 this morning's detour will take you from kennedy, to dale mabry, to cypress and to himes. but it should wrap up by 5-30 a-m. after that, all the *new lanes on i- 275 should be open.((more)) 3 the project still has one more leg to go, which is finishing the fourth lane of traffic in the northbound lanes. the project was

until the end of this year, but construction crews say they are about six months ahead of schedule. 3 3 a warning for students at u-s-f this morning. a student was *attacked... while unpacking her car. 3 it happened early saturday evening in parking lot 53. that's in greek village at the corner of maple and holly drives. according to police-- a man came up to the student asking her where he could get an umbrella. as she was giving him directions... police say the man wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her. as she tried to runaway... he grabbed her again. eventually he did let go... and took off. police have a person of interest in this case... but they are still asking students to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings. 3 3 developing out of jacksonville. after more than a 170 days of searching... a tragic reality, for the family of lonzie barton. authorities say they've found the toddler's remains.((more)) 3 lonzie was just 21-months-old when he his mother... and her boyfriend... have both been charged with child neglect. tells us... it was the

3 but they're starting now, because they couldn't get much done in the last session... while they dealt with redistricting and the budget. the session will start run for sixty days. the first order of business includes a massive water protection plan and bills aimed at helping disabled students. and at least one of governor scott's biggest priorities is probably dead in the water. lawmakers plan to *nix his new casino deal with the seminole tribe that would let them add craps and roulette. 3 republican lawmakers have also filed 7 anti-immigration bills for this year's session. several activists are already ready to fight them. they piled into a van monday, heading to tallahassee to protest. critics say the legislation is inspired by donald trump, and his comments

3 immigration activists from several other florida cities will also be traveling to tallahasee. 3 3 tampa police are still trying to solve a series of home burglaries... in some of the areas *priciest neighborhoods. 3 all the burglaries happened in the morning... or on the weekends... in the south tampa area. police believe the crimes *are connected. most of them happened saturday in palma ceia and parkland estates. investigators believe criminals are casing out homes -- and entering, when they think-- the house is empty. 3 surveillance cameras caught 3 this image of a small, white car. police believe it may have been the getaway car. if you recognize it, or know anything about the crimes... call tampa police. 3 3 new this morning: the tide just keep on rolling...

3 number two alabama taking on number one clemson last night... at the university of phoenix stadium in arizona. and this was one of the *closest national title games in recent years. the scoring *literally went back and forth all game... with several tie scores. but alabama pulled away in the fourth quarter... with a 51 yard touchdow pass... and a 95 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. clemson scored in the final seconds... and had a *chance at an onside kick, but no hail mary win here. 3 alabama wins... 45 to 40. it's their *fourth national title in seven years. much more on the game... and we'll hear some of the post game interviews, later this half hour... in sports. 3 and... in case you needed another reason to play the powerball this week... the jackpot just keeps on rising. state lottery officials bumped it up yesterday to one point *four billion dollars. a jump of one hundred million. you won't see the changes on most billboards

3 3 in the headlines this half hour: a home in ohio *explodes... killing *four people inside. and we're hearing it was a family... with two young daughters. 3 it happened just before nine last night in northfield center, in the northeastern part of the state. the dead include a man, a woman and the two girls... ages eight and 12. emergency responders say flames were shooting from the roof when they got there. neighbors actually ran into the house to try and help. they did manage to save the family dog. still no word on what caused the explosion. 3 the mother of the "affluenza" teenager is expected to get out of jail today in tarrant county, texas. tonya couch had her bail reduced from a million dollars

monday. and couch has already *posted the bond. couch is charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive. her son... ethan... was on probation for a deadly d-u-i accident. he never went to prison because his lawyers said his *rich upbringing prevented him from knowing right from wrong. and now, he's accused of violating probation, and trying to hide in mexico with his mother. authorities are still trying to extradite ethan back to the u-s. 3 3 we're now just hours away... from president obama's *final state of the union address. and the white house it will be a lot *different, than the speeches coming from the g-o-p candidates. 3 the president is expected to express optimism about the nation's future. white house chief of staff denis mcdonough also says the speech won't have any of the quote... "doom and gloom" that some of the republican presidential candidates have offered. the president is also not expected to make a direct appeal for democratic support. the speech starts tonight at nine... you can watch it right here, on fox 13.

set, for thursday's next republican debate.. here's a look at the main stage lineup... donald trump; ted cruz; marco rubio; ben carson; chris christie; jeb bush and john kasich. but "rand paul" and "carly fiorina" were bumped to the earlier debate... along with mike huckabee and rick santorum. but paul announced he plans to *boycott the debate, after the line up was announced. the debate is thursday night, on the fox business network. 3 and donald trump prepared for the debate... by working on his one-liners. he stopped by the "tonight show" again last night. so is he ready for the white house? jimmy fallon decided to find
