deputies in sarasota are trying to answer a tough question today: a 16-year old boy ?stab his family, while on vacation? they got a phone call wednesday night from melissa ramgren. she said her 16- year old son stabbed her, and his 14-year old brother. deputies found the 16-year-old just a few blocks away. the 16-year old is charged with two felony counts of attempted second degree murder. ramgren and her 14-year old son are expected to be okay. the family is vacationing from massachusetts. an update on a series of
the ?three men behind it. and they were all the way down in miami. the crime spree lasted five months.. and involved more than ?two dozen? home burglaries. some of them in the middle of the day.. detectives say the reason why no one in tampa recognized the trio is because theyre not ?from here. they live in south florida.. which is where they were arrested, after one of them slipped up. he used a stolen credit card... and was caught on surveillance video. in all.. the suspects stole about 100- thousand dollars in jewels and other items. an update mansion fire in largo. we're getting our first look ?inside at the damages. and its a lot worse than previously thought. the fire ?gutted the inside of the six thousand square foot home,and it's now a total loss. firefighters believe it was caused by lightning. thankfully no one was hurt. a mother and daughter got out safely. the coast guard has now ?suspended the search for a missing fisherman in north florida.
