(vanessa) deputies in pasco and hillsborough counties... are searching for some professional thieves this morning... authorities say: trucks, parked in certain places... and they know just how to get in... and steal your stuff. ((vanessa thieves burglarized eight trucks sunday outside the "sleep inn" and the "hampton inn" in wesley chapel. the crooks took: several guns, sunglasses and tools. someone broke- into 12 vehicles at the sheraton on m-l-k and falkenburg in tampa earlier this month. detectives are wondering... if the same group of thieves are involved in all of the incidents. "i would assume they are going to the black market and are being sold off that way. maybe to pay for a drug habit, maybe to pay for other things.

--vanessa detectives are looking for two men who were seen in a dark-colored sedan just before the burglaries. and they've warned all hotel chains along i-75, to be on the lookout. (wally// in pinellas, 62- year old "robert wyche" is accused of trafficking at least seven women in a prostitution and drug ring. monday, he agreed to a plea agreement of 10-years in prison, followed by 10 years probation and a lifetime, registered as a sex offender. but bor took to the stand... to send him off with a chilling farewell. we are not showing her face, but here's what she said in court. "this man, robert wyche, is a very violent and manipulative person. i met him at a very young age of 23. i was broken, lost, alone and on drugs. he used that to his advantage. i hope the next 20 years of his life are as miserable as all the years he stole from me and women like me. i'm happy that he will no longer have the

that victim says she's been sober for the past three years and now has a steady job. she's also reconnected with her family. ((vanessa we're learning more about what happened before a gator attack that killed a 2-year-old at a disney hotel. a florida fish and wildlife report says someone staying at the grand floridian resort told a castmember that he saw a 45 minutes before the attack. he said just before the attack, he saw 2-year-old "lane graves" in the water... when he went outside to warn them about what he had seen, he heard the mother screaming. despite this, f-w-c says graves died after a series of events that would have been difficult to prevent. a florida school is seeing a ton of backlash... after sending out one controversial permission slip. the notice allows students to opt out of the pledge of allegiance... and some parents

dollars worth of belongings and three guns. deputies believe the thieves are professionals. and they're asking hotels along i-75 to be on the aware. ((walter authorities just released a "cause of death" for former music mogul, "lou pearlman." they say: he died of "cardiac arrest." pearlman managed some of the biggest boy bands of the 90s, including: the backstreet boys and n'sync, all from his orlando office. he also ran one of the largest ponzi schemes in florida history. pearlman was serving 25-years in prison, for scamming investors out of 300-million dollars. ((walter a man who slipped-away from manatee county deputies... while still in handcuffs... has turned himself in. authorities first ran into "joel canchola" saturday night, when he got into a car accident. when deputies ran his name, they saw he was wanted for a probation violation. they arrested him, but minutes later he was able to roll-down the patrol car window, and escape. after two days on the run, he's back in custody... and now faces ?additional charges.

everyone knows the best sheets are made with egyptian cotton... but it turns out some target customers didn't get what they paid for. he company is now offering cutomers millions of dollars in refunds... after discovering they sold fake egyptian cotton sheets. they were made by welspun india. the sheets sold for as much as 175-dollars under the labels fieldcrest and crowning touch. target has since pulled them from shelves... and is offering august 20-14 and july of this year a full refund. ready for the latest in absurd news? this is k-f-c's newest product. fried-chicken scented sunscreen. the company gave away 3-thousand free bottles yesterday. the company's c-m-o says that often times scents bring back memories. so they're hoping the sunscreen will remind people of childhood
