shayla the area where you are appears to be pretty remote. had to be frightening for this child. certainly. but in this case we're told the child did exactly what he should do in this situation. he did not stick around. he ultimately ran to his bus stop. ran that remaining distance. and we're told in this case, the stranger took off in the opposite direction. right now we're off mangrove drive here in wesley chapel. just a short time ago i had a with a spokesperson for the pasco county sheriff's office. she tells me they are going to be increasing patrols in the area. just within the last half appear hour wee already seen a number of deputies in area. some of them talking to children at some of the nearby bus stops. and we're told they will also be trying to conduct some interviews with people in the area to see what information they can learn, what they can find out about the situation unfollying yesterday. so here's what we know.
office, a stranger wearing a furry winter coat in the middle of fall allegedly approached an 11-year-old boy on his way to the bus stop. and told the child reportedly you can have candy if you follow me into the woods. this is something that reportedly happened around 7:45 in the morning. and authorities right here in pasco county are urging parents and children make sure you keep your eyes open. make sure you're aware of your surroundings. if you seeny they did pass along a description of the person allegedly involved in all of this yesterday. that person has been described to us again as someone wearing a brown furry winter coat. deputies say the man had on sunglasses, hanging from his shirt. he's believed to be between 20 and 30 years old with dark hair and also clean shaven. so if you have any information

started on the back lanai due to extensive damage they've not been able to determine a cause. 8:07. and florida voters have a lot of power this year. in particular those along the i-4 corridor. but the most powerful voting block, women. new this morning we learned they are turning out this higher numbers than in the past. if they didn't, hillary clinton would not stand a chance of winning. that's because the 538 shows only men were a vote. just women hillary clinton would win by a landslide. and voters are definitely making certain their voices are heard in this historic election. pinellas county is on track to beat mail-in ballot voter turn out for 2012. same can't said about hillsborough voters. there's been less mail-in ballots returned. more people showing up polling locations for voting in hillsborough. >> last night people can vote in

good friday morning 8:13. look, temperatures are great. upper 60s for the most part. tampa actually dropped back to 69 degrees sitting at 70 all morning long. still a few lower 70s. clearwater st. petersburg, sarasota and venice. state-wide. low to mid 60s across i-10 close to 80 degrees really not much has changed. it's very interesting the way it is set up. because you get this warming wind. holding back sea breeze. couple degrees warmer now than we were yesterday at this time. but it also keeps the humidity in check. when i say in check, i mean in the moderate category. we go down to parts of south florida, and it's like summertime all over again from miami to the keys. they are in lower 70s for dew points. we're sitting in the mid 60s. and with this northeast whipped, through the weekend, we're going to stay that way.
reason that we have all of this cloud cover has to do with this. this little upper low sitting kind of spinning out here over the gulf. not projected to become anything significant. but what happens is it gives us a west to southwest winds in the middle mid levels of the atmosphere. so that's why we're not goat getting low, low, low clouds. they are a little bit higher. and because they are higher. we get the sun to filter through those. so we're getting our cloud kek and our northeasterly winds at the surface or warming us up. end result to all of this same weather different day. 85 degrees for a high temperature for today. with filtered sunshine and that warmth for you to want. we'll go back to partly cloudy skies. mild conditions. 70 for overnight low right along the coast but you will inland and north mid 60s or so. should nice little sunset too the 6:fraif.
high temperature around 86 degrees. the extended marine forecast, does call for moderate chop all weekend long. small craft advisories drop for coastal waters. but then as you go well off to your 20 miles plus that's where little choppy. 2:03 our high tide for later this afternoon. and then the next seven days we will show no rain chances to speak of highs in 80s low to mid to upper 60s. vanessa. hey there in polk county with folks just joining us we have a crash following in frostproof area that is causing still the delays northbound and southbound along u.s. between. this is a princeton avenue with a crashes reported. two southbound lanes are blocked in single northbound lane blocked. because of the delays sheriff's office is asking you to avoid the area so you can do so by taking scenic highway. we will get back tour oh major roadways i-4 still hasn't changed much as far as slowness
mcintosh. continue to plan extra time here. meantime we're getting a nice break here on southbound 275. really haven't rushed that red zone quite yet. 15 minutes it will take you from bearss to i-46 minutes the drive selman and i a-4 taking 75 north. all right. here's one. what's scarier than going to jail? maybe going to a haunted one? tonight, the polk county sheriff's office holding annual haunted jail tour that benefits the united way of fri loved haunted house we had to send him. alcides segui who laughs when you get scared. oos soon as you get scared you laugh. i suppose a good reaction. i do. i do. >> fraidy cat i'm kind of a weirdo that way. only way i can just kind of not scream like a female on television. so we're on the second floor of the administration building polk county sheriff's office. jail obviously closed down for a number of years.
this is i don't know, maybe about half way through. 15-minute tour. let's turn off lights corey and just show you glimpse of what people can expect if they are coming to tour the pall bearer there. it's great. more dead people here. fantastic. yes, how are you? yes. uh-huh. back here the spookest part of hawned house. its the isolation room. it is where the worst of the worst were kept in polk county. and from what i've been told,
area. two people were actually killed in the ice room. they died. one of them, i think this room here, this cell here, they hung them self. and then this room here where this creepy look thing is at. yeah. just freaking me out. and this room here, someone apparently set their bed on fire hoping deputies would come to start a fight. instead he died of smoke inhalation. here. first thanks for being with us i appreciate it. i think the oh, good lord. yes. that's great. yeah, thank you for that run. so this great a great cause open tonight tomorrow to 6 to 11. yes, sir it is. we have a large amount of volunteers that come in. these are all high school kids. they come here to fulfill
and to fill a good cause. lot of our agency volunteers coming in they come in here to have good time. serve their community. turned to quite local event for us. so you know, so every. about over 100 volunteers and you had in two days, 1100 people. i mean almost 5, 600 people tonight, tomorrow last two tonight's. yes tonight tomorrow, last two nights. we're really hoping to get a bigger turn out than we've ever had before. i mean so far we've been on track to do so. come and see us. all right. absolutely. sergeant, thank you for being with us locate in 400 block of broadway. the old administration admin building second floor of the jail very nice. he has white contacts on it and everything. it's pretty neat. this is i mean a small glimpse. it's, no doubt more intense when you have more volunteers here it's really dark and they've got music and whole deal. so again, 400 block broadway
office proceeds go to united way. $5 donation. great thing to do with that this time of year. all right. i love it. thank you. >> well, trump's vp has close call while landing laguardia. we will show avideo right after plane skidded off runway and why landing a laguardia is so difficult. hopeful our news director is not listening right now this whole no pet policy from hr is no the happening we're bringing a horse in the studio. this is n course. we'll explain coming up at 9. horse of course. but first, you want me to read this? first time to get ready for whole lot of school spirit. charley is bay shore christian
port tampa bay has now become florida's largest and most diversified. which helps explain why it is one of dana young's top priorities. generating over 15 billion for the regional economy, and 80 thousand local jobs. dana young is working to continue that success, by attracting high waged jobs for families who need them and fighting a bureaucracy that too often gets in the way.
hillary clinton: far too many families today don't earn what they need and don't have the opportunities they deserve. i believe families deserve quality education for their kids,
childcare they can trust and afford, equal pay for will be different if i'm president? well kids and families have been the passion of my life and they will be the

business and politics. we sent walter allen, which may be losing some of the customers at least for a while. good morning. >> hey good morning there. why do i just envision bitter beer face commercial you remember those from 90s. i can envision democrats and supporters of hillary clinton who 82 ufd todrink having that face that yuengling is throwing thei trump. hillary supporters and democrats don't think is laughing matter they've actually started boycotting yuengling beer. they are not alone. small businesses have started to doing that as well all over the owner of yuengling beer. again, throwing the support behind donald trump. eric trump visited yuengling's brewery in opinion on monday while campaigning in that state. after the visit he posted on twitter saying, thank you to dick yuengling for an amazing
>> now erin trump voiced his support of trump saying our guys are behind your father. we need him in there. since then yuengling drinker angie rl taken to social media. two bars and d.c. area, say they will no longer serve yuengling in their establishment. and they are not only ones that are upset. pennsylvania state representative wrote a facebook sizing come d.c. yuengling believes an agenda minority and anti he is best for them. that tells me all i need to know about what they thing is best for their customers. well some fans of yuengling are calling this rare miss step for beer company and become absolute staple around the country. certainly in pennsylvania. and here in florida. as wells adding the company could be, could be losing customers and russell like you said, that's a big question mark for how long is it just going to
they going to stay flipped to the other side going to han hiezer busch or coors light or whatever else wets their whistle. all right. we'll see. all right walter, thanks. talk later. florida state wildlife officials are on hunt for monkey in pasco county. they have a warning for us all. if you see it, don't touch it. just call them. we've seen hudson beach taking a stroll down a private dock on tuesday. but has not been seen since. two people filming a pod cast on their strolling along the water and took video of it. wildlife officials believe it's a reese's ma can being which is not native for florida. no ones sure if monkey is pet. men who spotted it tried their best to lure him wildlife officials warn against do they say they carry some pretty serious diseases hudson beach residents should secure their trash to avoid attracting monkey. if you see it call wildlife officials again do not approach it or try to feed it. 8:33 right now.
hanning on by a thread. remember, it used to be number 3 in country. not it's not even in top 20. reason for this is the state got rid of its tax incentve program and now your georgia cashing in on big time. florida small businesses and people who rely on the film industry are closing up shop. >> less than 12 hours to game three of world series. enbetween cubs and indians happening in chicago. it has been 71 years since last world series game a wrigley they will end to this all tied game in inn cleveland. next three games in chicago. team is hoping to win it there. >> man what a series. yeah. >> yeah. what's wear going to be like there tonight? okay then? i'm looking right now. actually going to be in the 60s. so that's not too bad. right. looks like it has been rainy there. but it's going to be windy. looking south, southwest winds, 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 35.
know whether that's blowing in or blowing out or cross ways or whatever. it will be windy tonight but mild for the game. we've got 69 degrees our current temperature outside in tampa. brooksville at 66. it's 64 in ocala. you know the temperatures this morning are technically a couple gross warmer than yesterday. but, the cloud cover that we had last night. really just kind of held the temperatures up a little bit. notice how the winds are already starting hour from the northeast. and occasionally the east. so you get this warm wind moving across the state. so despite the fact that we have the mid to upper level clouds, those winds coming out north to east will warm us up. we made it to mid 80s yesterday. no reason whydoesn't happen again today. let's bring it back up to about 85. i like to use the term filtered sunshine. kind of get an idea looking
85 for high tonight tonight's low 70. tomorrow back in the mid 80s. a moderate chop for boaters all weekend long. and next 7 days, rain free, seasonably warm. we'll have highs in the mid 80s and lows in upper 60s to around 70 degrees. who wants to go to the beach? who wants to jump in water? technically i guess our beach season might be over. but diana sent this picture in to us on my f by clicking on #we live here link and send a picture of one of the main reasons why we live here, vanessa. that's just to hang out at the beach. fox 13 good day mug for you diana. pretty picture and a cute picture. yes. >> okay. let's see if i can talk for this traffic report i'm pretty much in inn shock after that i don't
promposal, home coming proposal. what a gutsy guy. that was very sweet too. wow. >> all right. we'll let's see if i can get through this report. 8:36. and we're going to check out the howard franked land bridge northbound direction of course we're seeing most of our delays heading that way overall no big complaints. by way towards north end of bridge of course we usually see that traffic stacking up this time of morning. 275 northbound, across the bridge up to i-4 is sitting with moderate congestion a 17 minute ride. and we're improvements. they are small, but there are some improvements here to travel times on westbound i-4 where still pretty slow passing that crash site on the shoulder. and that's near macintosh. paul bub man highway to 75. 22 minutes. clear conditions here southbound 75. >> we featured dance teams and cheerleading squads on good day. have you ever heard of a step team? this sweetheart nation is here to school us on art of stepping randall martin is coach he's
they are in zone. they are ready to perform. that will happen in second. thanks for being here with us this morning. first of all congratulations on being national champions everyone. still in the zone. talk to me there are some people here at the station who have never heard of step team. what is it? stepping is basically originated from slaves used to use a form of communication back in the days. so now that high school teams and college teams took up level use it a competing another art of dance. >> okay. i know that you've years now. when we were talking earlier you selfed it's not, you know jury not their coach but they become part of your family you really try to steer them in the right direction get them through high school and off into their future. talk to me a little bit how you do that. i basically tell them that grades are very, very important. like in order you have to smart in school as well as be a smart when you're competing. i reward them by competing at nationals going to out of state shows. for all hard work you do in
never left city of tampa before. some kids never left city of tampa before their first time out of the city was with me in step team. so truly a blessing to see smiles after face going to different cities and state to state. some help you do right out of i don't your pocket. why do you take time to help these kids? i was always given, you know, i love to give back to them. just basically like see smiles on their faces. like hard work into it going in community doing fundraiser and stuff like that basically i try to award them. always have number one person and have their back. that's wonderful i'm sure they appreciate it too. whole different age range of kids all of them like ninth grade to 12th grade high school kids. on the right track. and you've got a big competition coming up? yeah. we going to houston texas january 21st. so we need as much support as we can from community and everyone else. help these girls get ready for
incredible thank you so much for being here we have a little bit more time i hear. oh my goodness. how proud are you of them? all hard work that they do? i'm extremely proud of them all hard work they are doing we're getting ready for competent tagues hopefully we can trac all this to win first place. you girls ready? yeah. what's best part about doing this? >> traveling. traveling. yeah. what grade i'm in 12th. how long. you're captain. how long have you been doing this? for like two or three years. and what about randall all work he does for you guys? he does a lot by competing and like winning for him. yeah. >> yeah? you guys want to step us out to break? you got anything else in you? we want to see it.
no do this one transition. when powerful people need someone to do their dirty work, they hire bob buesing. how far will he go? buesing fought to foreclose assisted-living retirement homes, threatening local seniors with homelessness. then, buesing defended wells fargo against charges of helping a ponzi-schemer swindle millions.
lars. now, buesing's running for senate. how far will bob buesing go? that's up to you. in my job, i see a lot of fires that could've been stopped before they started. that's why florida's firefighters support amendment 1. for the health, safety and welfare of florida's consumers and it's first responders. amendment 1 means more solar, safe solar, for the sunshine state. vote yes on amendment 1, for the sun. i've seen what can happen as the result of hate. my son matt was murdered in
laramie, wyoming, in 1998.
who pretended to be gay. they offered him a ride home, and when he was in their car, they robbed him and beat him. they drove matt out to the prairie and tied him to a split-rail fence, then beat him some more and left him for dead. in the aftermath of matt's death, my family saw the best of america in the love and support we were shown. so when i see the hate that donald trump has brought to his campaign for president, it terrifies me. i'd like to punch him in the face, i'll tell ya. ahh, i don't know what i said, . he's a mexican. i could stand in the middle of fifth avenue and shoot somebody, and i wouldn't... words have an influence. violence causes pain. hate can rip us apart. i know what can happen as the result of hate, and donald trump should never
be our president. priorities usa action
how are you russell? i'm good. thank you. you know i was thinking about our talk our conversation today. and of all the things that we can talk about, one of the things going on here, i guess going on around the country is hough u. how much early voting and mail-in ballot has is affecting things. i remember you wait until last minute to vote all of that sort of thing just not the case any more is it? >> no. election day isn't the day we start voting election day day we stop voting. if y you sense how much game has changed i was talking to campaign manager for hillary clinton on the show last week. he says they expect 40 percent, 40 percent of almost half of all votes that will be cast across the country for president will have been cast early before election day. which is yi ou see to large dege get out the vote get want to vote early to vote. people have gotten absentee
them in. and you want to bank those votes. as quickly as possible. among other things. because they are able to follow and know who has voted and who hasn't. they don't know who they voted for. but they if they can bank those, they can sit there because, the data mining is so sophisticated now they can figure out well okay, so you voted but your neighbor hasn't we got to focus on getting i don't neighbor to polls on election day. it's amazing. it's amazing. i want to ask you about the polls i know, you can take anything you want from em gther, the last few days, it does show that the thing race may be tightening up a little bit. >> yeah. i think that's a function of a couple of things. one is that, there's been this steady drum beat of wikileaks disclosures that were not favorable to hillary clinton about emails and the foundation. i think that is chipped away. anything in addition to come i think bottom fell out trump campaign after that access hollywood tape.
would have been for trump and for temporarily went away or coming back home. particularly republican and some independents having said that a probably 4 or 5 point race. and remember, obama only beat romney by i think 4 percent four years ago. so four, 5 percent is a lot. that's going to be a tough margin for trump to make up in this last 11 days. >> you have rinse show on sunday. i mean he's walking such a tightrope. he's got toughest job in american politics chairman of republican party not only go to deal with trump. he's also go to deal with trying to hold on to the house and the senate and there are a lot of places where trump is dragging down republicans. so he's got to figure out a way, you know, talk about tightrope. fury running for congress, on the one hand you've got people that may not like trump that you're trying to get. and you've also go people who
to get. you go go to find perfect balance there. one ways people are doing it is by saying well look we're going to check on hilary clinton if she comes in we'll an independent voice. and that's what you're starting to hear increasing from republicans we will talking to ryans priebus we will on on at 8:00 a.m. instead of 9 because there's football game. boy, you know not enough to have football 1:00 p.m. in afternoon we need it the it at 9:00 a.m. in the morning too. >> just one game to have. yeah. i mean come on. and london of all place. because lord knows they are dying for 9:00 a.m. football in london. i'm not bitter. i'm not bitter at all i couldn't been happier. this has to throw off the whole schedule. of soups and what you're going to have night before and everything. >> mrs. wallace is in a frenzy about this. she's very upset. i would irj you're more upabout
this man. hey. i love. i love this 9 o'clock football game. just great. i tell you. only in america. >> chris, we love you, man. take care and we'll see you sunday morning at 8 o'clock. fox news sunday. yes, thank you you can tape us and watch us at normal time. see you, man. good-bye. charley belcher, what's going on? we're just let's all do cupid shuffle. bay shore christian school. we all love it, right? stick around everybody. come dance with us. bay shore christian school the home of our fox 13

spindiana jones, play us a spindiana jones, play us a little music. i served under president bush and obama. i fought the taliban. i was asked to form a global coalition to counter isil. when someone makes the comment that they know
more about the islamic state or isil than do the generals, it implies a complete ignorance of the reality. but i believe secretary clinton really understands the threat that the islamic state poses to the united states and to the american people. and i believe she understands how to wield american power to ultimately defeat this threat i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message. i'm hillary clinton c'mon in, pop pop! happy birthday! i survived a heart attack. i'm doing all i can to keep from having another one. and i'm taking brilinta. for people who've been hospitalized for a heart attack. i take brilinta with a baby aspirin. no more than one hundred milligrams as it affects how well it works. brilinta helps keep my platelets from sticking together and forming a clot. brilinta reduced the chance of another heart attack.
brilinta without talking to your doctor since stopping it too soon increases your risk of clots in your stent, heart attack, stroke, and even death. brilinta may cause bruising or bleeding more easily, or serious, sometimes fatal bleeding. don't take brilinta if you have bleeding, like stomach ulcers, a history of bleeding in the brain, or severe liver problems. tell your doctor about bleeding, new or unexpected shortness of breath, any planned surgery, and all medicines you take. >>talk to your doctor about brilinta. i'm doing all i can. that includes brilinta.
