vanessa, accident at 11th street. they move the barrier detoured back to nebraska. if you have to take hillsborough, nebraska to 15th, closed down tampa police closed quite a while until they figure this out. tampa police say this involves several vehicles. possibly two investigators trying to figure out how to whole thing went down. at this point they don't know. most important thing to remember if you are commuting. if you are going to use hillsborough, it is closed down nebraska and 15. bottom line, you have to take an alternate route. back to you. >> all right. ken, thank you.

>> word on the condition of the deputy? >> reporter: good morning, deputy is expected to recover. he is also expected to have surgery. he sur sured -- killing a citiz. i want you to take a look at this video, state lake whales. this all unfolded after midnight saturday. according to the sheriff's office, deputy spotted a woman on the side of the road. he stuck around, he stopped to ask the woman what happened. he found out she crashed her car into a tree and suffered injuries.

within a few minutes. they arrived to something unexpected. not only was the citizen hurt, deputy panel both struck by a driver who veered on to the median and didn't stop to help. 33-year-old jessica antigya didn't survive. the deputy is expected recover cover. the sheriff's office is working to find out as much as they can about the person that is responsible. over the weekend they were checking nearby businesses. this is a vehicle that would have substantial front end damage. sheriff grady judd said the person that left the scene
