thanks, shayla. thanks, shayla. new this morning: tampa police are investigating a double shooting. it happened just after midnight at a home on east deleuil avenue. police say before they could get to the scene two men were taken to st. joseph's hospital. one has non-life threatening injuries. the other is in critical condition. police are still trying to figure out what led up to the sho a deputy injured in a deadly hit and run crash in polk county is expected to have surgery today. and the mother of the woman killed is pleading with the driver to come forward. this happened saturday morning in lake wales. deputy "adam pennell" had stopped to help "jessica enchautegui- otero" after she had gotten into an accident. after he radioed for help, another driver hit both of them and took off. the woman died. deputy pennell has a number of broken bones and is still in the hospital.

there is a 10- thousand-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. with a week to go until election day, the candidates in the race for president continue their final push across the country for votes. "hillary clinton" and former president "bill clinton" will be in the bay area today. hillary will hold an early voting event at pasco-hernando state college in dade city. it starts at three... doors open at one. former president clinton will be in st. pete at the "thomas jet jackson" rec center. doors for that event open at 5-30.

hours after meeting with voters in tampa bay. pence spoke to supporters in clearwater monday. his rally wasn't without it's hiccups. at one point an electrial glitch caused the power to go out. so pence picked up a megaphone and spoke in the dark. his message to people... too much is at stake and people need to go out and vote. the f-b-i has started sifting through thousands of former congressman anthony weiner's emails. it

also backed up her emails. the agency got a warrant sunday night... allowing investigators to read the content. officials say a preliminary search turned up records for the state department... as well as emails from the clinton server. as for how this impacts the election... some lawmakers say the investigation shouldn't have been announced this close to the election... while others say f-b-i director james comey is being unfairly targeted. the justice department has sent a letter to lawmakers pledging to make every resource available to expedite the review before election day. a ferry boat connecting downtown st. petersburg to downtown tampa will make its

a grisly discovery in a small kansas town. three people were found dead in a driveway from gunshot wounds. an 18-month-old baby was also found inside a home nearby. police are still investigating. the baby is currently in the care of its grandparents. a high school freshman is in custody in nevada, suspected attack. the student was arrested late last week. police have not announced a name, but said the student was 15-years-old. they did say the student made comments about executing a school shooting or something more catastrophic. they say it appears the student had also written a manifesto. a dozen people are under arrest in san francisco... protesting an oil pipeline thousands of miles away. the group took over the lobby of citibank headquarters in the city's financial district. the demonstrators say they want

a father is still missing... after taking his 3-year-old son on a jet ski

william morris hasn't been seen since last night. his the little boy was found on a small island all alone... along with the jet ski, a life jacket, and his father's wallet. this was just west of the i-75 overpass. fortunately... the boy wasn't hurt. officials searched for 38-year-old morris yesterday... it's not clear if or when that search will continue today. lakeland police are searching for a man who held up a subway at gunpoint. it happened saturday night. police say the man walked into the restaurant and demanded money cashier. they say he took the money and ran. k-9 units rushed to the scene, but were unable to find him. lakeland police are hoping someone will recognize him in these pictures and give them a call. an accused thief's shirt is getting him noticed online. he's wearing a shirt that shows what appears to be a robber. pasco deputies say the man deposited a fake check for three-thousand-dollars into a bank account that was

the account. if you know who he is please contact the pasco county sheriff's office. a pasco county man is hoping to spare others from what he had to go through. he said his wife got a call from a man who claimed their son had backed into his brother's motorcycle. and his brother -- who's a fugitive -- attacked him and kidnapped him and was going to ?kill him if the family didn't send a thousand dollars to repair the motorcycle. well "yasser abdelrehim" smelled a scam. the family called the pasco county sheriff's office who said they've seen similar calls over the pas impossible to track down the scammers because of advanced technology. it's one of the most important senate races in our state. "marco rubio" who originally said he wasn't going to seek re-election is fighting off democrat "patrick murphy". as fox's "steve harrigan" shows us murphy is making this fight against "donald trump".
