identify who it was. >> horrific crash in baltimore today killed six people and injured ten others. a school bus rear ended a car that sent the bus into a pillar and ricocheted into the path of the consumer bus. it was so bad some people described it like a bomb that went off. the driver was killed along with five people on the city bus. and there were no children on the bus at the >> there are not any skid marks. something that we're investigating. to see the damage that took place. there is a speed. that person survived and shed light on what happened.

the driver was outside of a hall when a man came up to him said he wanted the pizza for free. then he showed him what appeared to be a gun. they arrested a 20-year-old who is a student living on campus. they say it was a toy gun but he is charged with armed robbery. a steining stranger in the halls of a school is reviewing a plan after that career criminal right there was spotted inside the school while the students were the trying to open doors inside of the school. police arrested him, parents are alarmed. and chris cato is joining us. so many schools are locked down. >> this has a pence all the way around it. he may have climbed that fence but we asked the schools how he got in and they're not selling us. we'll have more on that in a

bartow elementary a teacher found the guy on the second floor of the school he had been roaming around for a while trying to open two locked doors. the other throwed a mechanical room. when a teacher confronted him he said he was a mechanic. officials called the police they placed the school on lock down. police aest ared the suspect. donald stephens away from the school and based on the history they believe that he was there not to hurt students but steal. >> it looks like there was no ill intent to students or staff but when we get the report and responding it is a scary thing to think we have someone trespassing on the extra us who should not be there. >> so how did he get in there in the middle of the day? i called the polk county official he said he cannot tell me if they determined how he got in and if any changes were made

laws prevent him from discussing the safety plans but he did say the schools are assessing the environments and working to improve the safety. and that suspect, 41-year-old don stephens, appeared in court on trespassing charges. i researched his history he has spent 20 years in prison for a long list of crimes in polk and hillsborough and almost all of them are related to grand theft and fraudulent use of credit cards n 2009 he was sent to prison for five breaking into a different school in polk county and stealing a lot of stuff. commuters have a new way to get to and from tampa and st. pete without getting stuck in traffic. the ferry made its maiden voyage. dan matics was there at noon. it looked great. a beautiful day out there.
