as dave has reminded us, this sunday we turn >>laura: this sunday we turn back the clock. dramatic savings time ends at 2:00 a.m. on sunday. while an extra hour of sleep may sound great, doctors say it can take a toll on your health. any change in your schedule can clock and that can lead to seasonal affective disorder. this is a legitimate thing. it's a form of depression with symptoms of hopelessness. doctors say you should use the time before turning back the clock to ease into it. >>russell: that was a downer and a half right there. >>laura: you're welcome, everybody.

going to be great, get an extra hour of sleep. >>dave: not anymore. when you go to bed saturday night, let's say 11:00 and you turn it back to 10:00, you get a big smile on your face. you do. >>laura: and i know people don't like it but when you lose that hour and, you know, you have that extra hour of sleep, i feel like i'm more -- maybe it's because of our shift. i feel more productive. this phase of the calendar, i'm winter hibernation mode. >>dave: i like the earlier that's how i've always been. we're in the 60s. most of us are in the 60s this friday morning. west chase, new tampa, plant city at 63 degrees. you look at these temperatures and they're nice. even the 70 in st. petersburg, it's above normal but it's a nice start to the day. contrast that with a 55 that we had in crystal river and 58 that we had in brooksville. temperatures in the mid to upper 70s south and along the coast.
6:16 am
mid 60s except wauchula. you're at 59 degrees. so moisture levels are decent, right? we've had that moderate humidity all week long, although it's a nice little start to the day. as this front comes through and yes, it's been taking its sweet time, it probably will be late tonight or tomorrow morning when it finally squeezes through central florida. you're going to notice probably during the late afternoon hours today, our dew points go back up a little bit, maybe mid to 60s and by tomorrow afternoon, upper 50s. this front will provide us with somewhat drier air. but it's not going to be extreme. and the good news is, as this front comes through, boy, you really see it now with our water raper loop, this is mid level moisture and behind it, it drys out. front will come through today and then that drier air, that seasonable weather, it's going to continue for several more

going to have it for a day or two and then it's gone. you watch the future cast and you can actually see the very thin line of clouds associated with this front so by 7:00 tonight, jacksonville, tallahassee and then watch as it squeezes through by very early tomorrow morning. so yeah, we're looking at a fantastic weekend but the good news is, we're going to extend tis lovely weather all the way through at least the middle of next week as well. 7:44 our sunrise time today with a high of 83 maybe a bit breezy. low 65 degrees. and then mostly sunny, a little drier for you tomorrow and your high temperature around 80 which, by the way, that's our normal high. it's 80 for this time of year. light chop today, boaters, i do have a moderate chop tomorrow and sunday. both days, northeast winds around 15 knots. i'm looking for the next seven days. no significant rain and the high
6:18 am
low temperatures 62 to 65. that's pretty much going to be our range the next seven days. >>vanessa: i got some good news for roadways here. in the last report we told you about the dog that was wandering the interstate. the dog has been picked up nearby so this was originally reported southbound 275 at fowler avenue. the dog was found in a parking lot over by bush and floor florp. sittish but okay and good news even more is now the delays we were showing you earlier through the area are completely gone. so enjoy that enjoy these travel times as well. south from fowler avenue to the selmon, eight minutes along 75. 11 minutes that drive westbound drivers on i-4, buchman to 75 and only taking four minutes from pinellas bay way to the 375 exit in pinellas county, taking 275. >>russell: there's certain songs you simply cannot escape from. the closer we get to christmas.

6:42 am
proof, all these spots in the 60s and it's really a decent start to the day. it's always about the wind direction and while it's relatively light, you can tell it's almost due north. due north wind will make it feel a little nicer outside versus an east wind which is still better than a south or a southwest wind which we haven't had, knock on wood, in weeks. that's why it does feel a little nicer. it's a couple of degrees cooler this morning than it was. now, once this f through and it will happen later tonight, very early tomorrow morning, we will sustain that north wind, northwest at times throughout the weekend and that's what's going to make it feel very nice outside. so comfy as far as the dew points go. your front, here it comes, just out ahead of it there's been one or two sprinkles and that's about the worst case scenario. rain is not going to be an issue with this front but we're getting to the point now and i know you're yelling at the tv.
6:43 am
this is the dry season and november is the driest month of the year. just hard to get rain. but we will get some drier air coming in behind the front courtesy of the north to northwest wind. highs today go back to around 83 degrees give or take a degree. sunrise, there it is. it's an hour away at 7:44. tonight the overnight lows near 65 degrees and then for tomorrow, 80. a little bit drier, kind of a it should feel real nice. the only thing that we could pick on in the forecast this weekend may be some of the winds offshore, more of a moderate chop anticipated for saturday and for sunday with your next seven days showing us delightful weather. 80 to 83 for highs and lows in the low to mid 60s and turning the clocks back. that's the last day i get to remind you, though.
