happening right now, investigators are trying to figure out what led to a deadly shooting in a local church. it happened this morning during a service in montgomery county. the victim is 27-year-old man. good evening, i'm iain page. >> i'm lucy nolan. police say the shooter is cooperating but right now face knows charges. let's get straight out to sabina kuriakose who's in north wales this evening. sabina? >> reporter: this happened in the middle of the church service. even as hymns were being as you know, prosecutors say a fight broke out at keystone fellowship church between two church members. the district attorney says one member pulled out a semi automatic handgun and shot the other member once in the chest. now, the victim died. he's been identified as

27-year-old robert barrackston montgomeriville. the shooter is cooperating with police. the person is not in custody. prosecutors say they're looking into whether this shooting was quote justified. we do know that the victim was not armed. and that the alleged shooter had the conceal to carry permit. now, at a press briefing a short time ago. district attorney kevin steele told us more about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. all of it remains vague as investigators continue to investigate what happened. >> the investigation into this is ongoing. we're going to have to determine whether the shooting was justified, under the law. we're still interviewing witnesses. and the autopsy on the case is scheduled for tomorrow at the montgomery county coroner's office. >> reporter: very tight lipped about all of this right now, so far, they are not identifying the alleged shooter. that person we're told was

injured and treated and released at a local hospital. we have not been told exactly the extent of that person's injuries. we don't know what the relationship was between the two members of the church and we don't know exactly what provoked this argument. a lot of details still need to be hammered out. we do know that one person is dead. another is being questioned by police, but is not in custody. lucy and iain back to you. >> thank you. philadelphia police are looking for a killer who gunned down a man in east mt. airy. the 21-year-old victim was shot twice in the head. on the 1400 block of vernon road. police were called around 3:30 this afternoon. the victim was pronounced dead a short time later. 2016 and the spotlight in the race for the white house is squarely on pennsylvania. hillary clinton addressed the congregation at the african-american episcopal a church at saint thompson in overbrook farms. the former secretary of state praised the record of the past two democratic presidents saying she'd like to get back the economic policies of her

the search is on for the man behind the abduction. early yesterday morning, the man force add 20-year-old woman into his car at gunpoint near 49th and lancaster. in the city's park side neighborhood. the woman escaped about 11 hours later. police say she does know at the man in philadelphia police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 17-year-old boy early this morning in feltonville. it happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 400 block of east wyoming avenue. the teen was shot once in the chest outside of a club called emergency cafe lounge. we do not know what led to the shooting. in your fox 29 weather authority started out chilly then beautiful spring day. the worth weather continues. it's not going to be as chilly tonight as last night. and a big warmup is on the way. here to tell us is meteorologist kathy orr. >> a late month warmup at that. a beautiful afternoon. no matter where you were.

six after back to back win, couldn't keep the streak alive. howard eskin in the newsroom to break down the flyers season. howard? >> it's pretty simple. the season is over for the flyers. the flyers need to score goals to win games, and even the series against washington, really came down to six games. but the flyers allowed the only goal scored in the game. they lose 1-0. the series four games to two t there were ugly numbers for the flyers. that's part of the problem, scored only six goals in six games. and one of those goals was an open net goal at the end of game five. the flyers were only one for 24 on the power play. and today was a day where they had a five one three and didn't score. let's go to the wells fargo center and take a look. there's no score in the second period. and niklas backstrom shoots. that's the one goal against michael neuvirth that made it 1-0 nine minutes into the second period. the flyers couldn't do anything,

his chest. police do not have a suspect. a 15-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hit by a car in gloucester county, new jersey. >> it was in an area where police had taken measures to prevent this very thing from happening. jennifer joyce has more from sicklerville. >> reporter: accident investigators had the southbound lanes of route 42 at greentree road in washington township shutdown for six hours last night after a 15-year-old girl was hit by a car while trying to cross the busy highway. >> i couldn't sleep last night. it was very sad. very sad. >> michelle said last night she was across the street from the accident scene at the washington township carnival. she immediately knew something was wrong. >> a lot of sirens and so we started running up. we had gotten where she had pretty much just gotten hit. at that moment, within seconds, the ambulance came. >> reporter: the teenager victim from sicklerville, new jersey was rushed to cooper university trauma center in critical condition.

police say the girl was hit by a toyota driven by a 21-year-old man from stratford new jersey. he stayed at the scene. washington township police say they had installed plastic orange fencing along the median of the highway to prevent carnival goers from crossing. >> it makes you think that you really need to one hold your kids. closely. and really pay attention to what they do. it could be anybody's child. and you know, i got goose bumps yesterday. >> reporter: the driver involved is cooperating. accident investigators are trying to determine the circumstance to say. at this time, charges have not been filed. in washington township new jersey, i'm jennifer joyce fox 29 news. the world continues to mourn the death of music icon prince close friends and family say a personal good-bye. >> a small group gathered at paisley park yesterday to celebrate his life privately along with his family, a family of fellow musicians attended the

community is recovering after a gunman opens fire outside a high school prom. the 18-year-old shooter wounded two students before an officer fatally shot the gunman. it happened about 150 miles north of milwaukee. female victim is out of the hospital and male victim had surgery. his injuries are not life-threatening. >> the community is safe at this point. we also have a lot of investigation to worry about. we're also looking at, you know, the victims, and hope everything comes through ok with them, and at this point, the students that were at the prom have made it home safely. we escorted them out safely and they've been returned to their families. the gunman is identified as jake could be wagner, a former students. he shot the two victims as they exited the buildings re buildingly it's unclear if they were specifically tarred. it's been nearly a year since the devastating earthquake. >> and rebuilding efforts are

. incredible video out of arizona tonight. four firefighters are recovering after this huge fire ripped through an apartment complex under construction. officials say it started last night around 6:00. the complex wasn't occupied yet but the flames did spread to a nearby house. the firefighters are expected to be ok. investigators are still working to find out the cause of the fire. new clues tonight into the disappearance of two florida teens who ended up vanishing at sea last year. the crew of a nor what was jen supply ship discovered the boat and an iphone belonging to the 14-year-old near the coast of bermuda saturday. the two teens vanished last july boating off the coast of jupiter. the families are hoping the new discovery will prompt the u.s. coast guard to reopen it's investigation. >> it's the moment beyonce fans have been waiting for as the super star drops her latest album. >> the past and present merge to
