>> out in irvine, california, where the weather is i'm sure. >> were you skipped? >> i guess. who knows. >> oh, my goodness, still getting myself together here. sore. >> i that's okay. >> okay, we want to hear more about this story because i'm intrigued, and not in a good way. we've got a look at radar. we have rain on radar. but the rain is not here in philadelphia. so let's zoom in little bit closer. and show you that the heaviest of the rain is moving in a straight west to east line from dover, delaware, all the way toward the jersey shore. soap, if that's where you are, you're about to get some heavier rain than what you are seeing now. southern delaware, as well. we haven't seen much in philadelphia, but some of our jersey suburbs have seen a little sprinkle or two. so it is dry here in the city. but completely different the further south you go. keep that in mine. it is 55 degrees right now. 72% relative humidity, sunrise time is 5:49.
as we look at our temperatures, it is a little bit cooler to the north of us, where there are fewer clouds, 46 degrees in allentown, 478 in trenton, 48 in pottstown, down to the of us we kept temperatures in the rain because of the cloud cover. so, as we plan our day, plan on bunch of cloudiness and spotty shower is not out of the question but we're thinking optimistically here with a high of 70 degrees. and it looks like that has real good chance of happening. sunset is at 8:06. there is your wednesday, bob kelly, happy hump day. >> you know what, back at you. what's interesting is that my card was declined this morning when i was getting coffee. >> oh? >> so i wonder -- >> if there is something going on? >> if the same person shopping on lauren and i's account. i have to check into that. luckily the guy behind me was nice enough and bought my coffee for me this morning. bamm, paying it forward. so hopefully i'll see him

you work your way along 42 into 295 and up toward the walt whitman bridge. and it is work zone wednesday coming to the blue route. paint done will paint some lines, at least that's what's on the to do list today along 476 between the turnpike and 95. mass transit, the airport, off to good start, chris, lauren, back to you. >> following breaking news out of camden this morning, right now police there investigating early morning shooting this happened around 1:30 on south seventh and everett street. little information has been released about the shooting. we are awaiting word on the condition of the victim, and if an arrest has been made in this case. >> big brawl in north philadelphia ends with a police officer in the hospital. >> that officer got pepper sprayed in the face. now, they are looking for who did this, of course, steve keeley at headquarters with the latest, good morning. >> lots of luck in finds hog did this. it was like one of those wwe matches where all of the wrestlers are in the ring at the same time all fighting each other in all direction action. fifty-seven mostly come women,
all of these adults fighting doing it in front of a silly scoot and rec center. you wonder how many kids were watching n comes in as a report after stabbing which wasn't true yet 20 officers trying to break up 75 people. that's when a 25 year old housing authority officer gets a face full of mace in his blinded temporarily. he is okay out of the hospital. he was rushed to temple. >> this all happened right at dinnertime at 6:00. he was back home by 8:30. but police now looking for evidence that far big crowd only one person got arrested, and it wasn't to have anything to do with the officer being maced, that was just one disorders errly charge of all 75 they estimate. they are hoping somebody has a video clip to help them figure out who was the person armed with the mace. >> now, fortunately, at the intersection of 20 and diamond, we have school and recreation center. both of these buildings do have exterior cameras. so investigators are trying to
look at these record togs see if they can help us with this investigation to find out who pepper sprayed this housing officer. >> so at 25th and diamond in in the philly somebody may have not even intend today spray the officer but maybe trying to spray somebody who had shrugged them. who knows. maybe there is some video that tries to figure this all out. right now luck think wasn't any worse. >> absolutely, steve, thank you. >> investigators hoping surveillance footage leaves them behind the hit-and-run, that driver nearly killed a man riding his bike at 52nd and spruce street around 2:00 yesterday morning in the video the driver on the wrong side of the road speeds right through a red light, security cameras capturing the white suv ramming the cyclist from behind. moments later, you can see, another driver, pull over, to help the victim lying in the street. the victim well known and like by neighbors. >> good guy. >> yes, very nice, very nice.

battle shaping up very early, back to you. >> dave kinchen, thank you very much. you decide 2016 continues with another round of primary voting in the books. it was just republican vote being in nebraska where donald trump ran unopposed and won of course in west virginia voters for both parties would hit the polls with trump obviously running on the republican side, ran unopposed as everyone else dropped operate of the race. >> big win for bernie sanders while here in our area vowed to keep fighting right up to the democratic national convention in philadelphia in july. now, david mentioned this, the quinnipiac pole released yesterday shows trump and hillary clinton neck and neck right now in the key spinning state of pennsylvania, florida, ohio. speaking of trump, looking for runningmate, he said narrowing his vp choice toss five, six candidate, all with extensive political background, he hasn't ruled out new jersey governor chris christie. trump says he is prioritize g experience because he want the

all right, so here we go again. this weather map that we showed you yesterday hasn't changed a lot today. it is a stalled weather pattern. this is a stationary front. and it stalled just to our south, close enough that it has been bringing some rain to delaware this morning. in fact, we've even some lightning and thunder down in central and southern delaware. eventually we will get this cold front. but that's not scheduled to arrive until friday. so, there you see the precipitation from our stalled front, our stationary front, and we zoom in and show you just where it is raining around here. so, dover, delaware, this is an area of rain that seem to
be weakening, and so we won't probably see it with us for too much longer. but dover having that rain, look, just tiny bit of rain, just over the border new castle county, concord township, little rain in pit grove, see distributes andres around, mace landing this morning, then at the jersey shore, cape may, it is raining, there and you're about to get some heavier rain as it moves across the delaware bay. so that's what we're looking at this morning little rained around wildwood, sea isle city doesn't look to be raining right now, future cast, see the heavy rain casino of getting out of here. we're seeing cloud cover, but, the further north you go, the better chance you have of seeing some sunshine today. may see little sun in philadelphia, but look at noon, see another wave coming along that stalled front. giving us possibility after shower this afternoon. see if any of it comes far north this evening, channels
of rain at the jersey shore this evening, as well. we head into thursday morning. the possibility of more rain, as this frontal system tries to move north as warmfront. but looks like most of the daytime thursday, should be dry. now, friday, is a different story, because, now we get the cold front that will come through, and you can see the line there any time after 12:00 noon, expect thunderstorms to pop up friday. so every day is a adventure with this weather. >> just little if-ee there, 55 in recalled if, 39 in mount pocono, 52 degrees in dover, delaware. now, wind are still coming out of the north or the northeast. the northeasterly winds means more cloud cover. as we look back before we look ahead, 72 is our average hi, we didn't even get close. we did make it though to 06 degrees yesterday. at least we got out of the 50's, now, just give you today's forecast, continue refining that seven day. 70 degrees today. chance of shower, mostly
cloudy skies. tonight it look like we will just see clouds and low of 58. and that takes care of your wednesday. bob kelly, i want that seven day to be perfect. so continue to craft it. >> yes, keep crafting over there, sue's pinterest wednesday, right? keep ongoing. 4:18. morning, everybody, they are paving like crazy all this week, as i mention. >> i know watching the forecast here day-by-day, sliding sliding in when they k they slid in on broad street last night. live look, 95 northbound, the off ramp to broad street is block, as they're paving along broad, between oregon and 95. they are working on the vine street expressway. that's closed this morning, until about 5:00 between broad street and the schuylkill. so there is number of different ways to go. come off 95, stick with vine st. local. come off the schuylkill you got spring garden, south, even 30th street and you wick he
will your way back into downtown. coming in from the suburbs as sue mentioned some hit and miss showers depending where you begin and end your trip. 202, 422, really nothing out of the ordinary there. the market frankford and the broad street subway both using shuttle buses to 5:00 as they typically do during the weekdays, otherwise regional rails, nothing to report. patco, new jersey transit, looking good, as well. they are doing some paving on the parkway, as well as paving on the kelly drive. that continues. watch out on that kelly. i sipped home there yesterday. they had the uneven surface at times depending upon what stretch you use. and it casino of difficult when go to hit the lane changes there, you got big old speed bump in the wayment and those manhole covers are all sticking up couple of inches. turnpike, little slow from bensalem into philadelphia. but otherwise looking good on i-95. chris, lauren, back over to you. >> bob, thank you so muchment robbery at gunpoint usually quiet south philadelphia neighborhood. now police are hoping surveillance video will help
them catch the suspectment take a look, it happened last wednesday on the 400 block of catharine street in queen village. police say man pointed a gun at another man, then grabbed his wallet and his phone. he took off. jumping into a car. and heading north on fifth street toward south street. if you know anything, or recognize anything in the video you are asked to call police. >> police now say he is strangled 27 year old ronica rodriguez in their home on rorher street monday then called 911 and aid in the dollars to killing her. talking juan camacho face self channel charges, including murder and sexual assault. his mother lives in florida she told reporters there she broke up with camacho, and apologized after the murder. >> search is on, police shot another over and over and over again in the city brewerytown section, 1600 block of north 30th street around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, they found the 24 year old victim. he had been shot six times.

than dozen surgeries to recover. >> it has hundreds of shares on facebook. >> talking about pictures of little puppy found alone walking in the waves down the shore. the wildwood police department posted the pictures on his facebook page last night. they say the pup in the surf at the shell inning err avenue, the dog's okay, but police want to figure out how it ended up in the water. if you know anything about the owner or the puppy, you are asked to called the wildwood police department. >> adorable if nothing else. weird night on the diamond for the phillies last night against the braves. did a rope dope keep our team from winning. howard has that next in sports. >> first, your winning lottery numbers. on this cushion for generations.

49 in trenton. but the further south you go, it is milder because it is cloudier. fifty-three in wilmington, 50 in wildwood, 51 degrees in millville, new jersey, so here is your planner, plan on a lot of cloud cover today. and a chan of spotty shower any time but the further north you go, as we mentioned, less chance you have of seeing any rain. we will go for this high of 70 degrees. we don't get there, we will get close, sunset time 8:06. so that should get you over the hump. we will get to the weekend forecast with the well-crafted seven day, it is ready, bob kelly. >> biggest hum some getting the keurig to work back behind the studio there this morning. good morning, everybody, 4:32, crews still working out here along the schuylkill expressway. this is a live look, the westbound side, right near 476 out there in conshohocken. and they only got the one lane open, but it is okay, light volume so far this morning. just watch the speeds as you crust on by. getting ready for an opening, are you up yet? come on, burlington bristol going up 5:05, that's the time
to watch if you typically cross the river using the burlington, talcony pal my, a not sure whether the freight is her headed south at this hour most likely will be. so, look for talcony palmyra bridge opening probably in that 6:00 hour. they are still closed here, on the vine expressway, but i am starting to see some headlight. so i think we are getting ready to open up both directions here in center city. but the overnight construction is occurring all this week. so just keep that in mind. crews are working down in delaware, the ramp, the 202 ramps to head south on i-95 are still block this morning. they are also still working on the new jersey turnpike, southbound, right near exit number two, that's route 322, and they are paving on the parkway, they are paving on the kim i drive, they are paving along broad street. all of the paving operations are still out there until about 5:00 this morning, and the buses are running on both the market frankford and the subway until 5:00, as well, chris, lauren, back to you. >> following breaking news out of camden right now police are

sprayed the officer by the way. he had his eyes flushed at the hospital, and chris, lauren, driven home, and now knowing first-hand howie negative pepper spray is. and that's why officers carry it themselves. >> good point. steve keeley live for us at police headquarters, thank up. now, to a developing story out of massachusetts, police have identified the man they think went on a deadly crime spree at a home and mall in massachusetts. they say that man is 28 year old arthur derosa, state police say after stabbing two people in taunton, he crashed a car into the silver city gal rhea stabbing two other people and assaulting multiple victims there. derosa shot and killed by off duty law enforcement officer. two of the stabbing victims did day. the others are hospitalized. motive for the attack remains under investigation. the state police said they have found no evidence connecting the crimes to terrorism. all right, in the race for the white house, let's go to dave kinchen now who is in new jersey expecting a big player, a marquis player in this

so when was the best year you can remember? and they said 2,000. now, why was that? because we were on the right track. but the republicans came back with their failed economic positions, trick end down economics. and then of course they took their eyes off the financial markets, and the mortgage markets, and we know what happened. so the worse financial crisis since the great depression. >> well, clinton continues to look toward the general election, even with bernie sanders' keeping his long shot bid for the democratic nomination alive with the win last night. hillary clinton, as you heard there, setting her sites on donald trump and, by the way, a quinnipiac pole of spinning states said that there is a dead heat between clinton and trump in pennsylvania, ohio, and also florida. so, that early race already shaping up right now. back to you. >> all right, dave kinchen, thank you.

>> stationary front since monday bringing wave after wave of rain the further south you go since this is stalled to the south the greater the chance every seeing some rain. there is a cold front way out in the midwest. that will get on friday probably. it does look, though, like we might get milder temperatures today. you see where the action is with this front. that's well to the south down in kent county, delaware. we do see couple of stray showers, showing up on radar, anyway, not sure that any of this precipitation is making it to the ground around chester, in delaware county, but as we said the action is now in cape may county, at the jersey shore, and as we zoom in, little bit closer, we see around wildwood, middle township, lower township, cape may, you're seeing some of that steady to heavy rain move in because of the southern frontal system. so, that's the deal. that area probably dries up. we just get mostly cloudy skies, we could even see
