exhausted. the president spoke what until 11:42, then got in air force one down to dc. we understanded he is back in d.c. what after three hours ago. my goodness, then sue, couple that with leather. it has been hot, humid. >> and more storm on the way, yes, you will feel it when you walk out today. humidity definitely inch increased, muggies are back, storms in the forecast, so we go with six out every ten today. muggy the dog is here with bus stop buddy. so happy that so many people have come to see our city. mild and mug which temperatures in the 60s, 70s right now. nothing on radar yet. but that could be a different story later on in the days. 76 degrees with 87% relative humidity, 5:56 your time of sunrise, so expecting high of 92 today. hot, humid, with storms popping up, i would say start watching for them, especially philly south and east, any time afternoon today. tonight, down to 76 degrees, with scattered thunder storm, as well, talk about what's up

the last couple of days, a lot of action on the move over the bridges, back into philly, for the evening rush, and then, change up and head down to the wells fargo center, for the last event tonight. chris, back over to you. >> bob, we have live team coverage of the democratic national convention for this morning, steve keeley live at fdr park, but we begin with lauren johnson live inside the wells fargo center for us wrapping around some of the biggest moments from last night, lauren, good morning. >> reporter: yes, some of the biggers stars of the democratic party stood behind me, all campaigning for hillary clinton to become the first female president. but it was president barack obama, passing the torch to hillary clinton, that many people are talking about this morning. >> you know, nothing truly prepares you for the demands of the oval office. but hillary clinton has been in the room. she has been part of those decisions. she knows what is at steak in the decisions our government
makes. i ask you to do for hillary clinton what you did for me. i ask you to carry her, the same way you carried me. because you're who i was talking about 12 years ago when i talked about hope. hope in the face of difficulty, hope if the face of uncertainty, the audacity of hope so this year in this election i'm asking to you join me, to reject sensism, reject fear, and to sum on what's best in us, select hillary clinton as the next president of the united states. and show the world we still believe in the promise of this great nation. >> reporter: after giving that speech, hillary clinton walked out on stage surprising everyone, the two embrace in the emotional hug as the democratic party tries to move forward. vice president joe biden used his time to go right after donald trump.
he targeted trump's most famous catch phrase you're fired, used trump's words against him trying to show the american people who trump really is. >> how can there be pleasure in saying you're fired? he's trying to tell us he caring about the middle class. give me a break. that's a bunch of malarky. (cheers). >> the advise president shared his opinion that no major party nominee less prepared for the presidency than donald trump. another big speech coming from vice presidential nominee tim kaine, us senator from virginia appeared on stage a few house after receiving his party's official nomination. kaine has been campaigning hartford democratic ticket, in the week following his announcement as clinton's vp. he explained why he thinks democrats should get another
term in the white house. >> senator kaine also talk about his record on gun control, education, and the economy. >> okay, all of this happening inside and outside the wells fargo center, tense moment when philadelphia police and secret service move in, when a group of protesters cross the line, seven people breaking through the barrier into a restricted area. steve keeley is live at fdr park, where demonstrations have happened, and remain pretty peaceful this week, steve. hi, good morning to you. >> reporter: a lot more protesters morning than there were yesterday morning, a lot of them sleeping after that wild night, and what you will see and here is fox news channel reporter jeff lock, before he's on the air, then after they take him on the air. >> we will get the tape and get back on as soon as possible.
>> and we'll have much more on how that broke out, and how those tow testers tried to break through the barriers? just a minute. first today is the last day of the convention as you know, the theme, stronger together. and tonight, hillary clinton will take the stage to make her acceptance speech. she is expected to speak speak about her vision for the country and her belief that america is at its best when we all work together to solve the country's problems. introducing her, will be her daughter, chelsey clinton. >> the dnc has brought tens of thousands to our area this week, i mean, there are 40,000 delegates, but are all of these delegates and visitors helping local businesses? our dave kinchen live in old sit way look at that. dave, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, chris, a lot like politicians it is hit or it is miss. we're, where we are right now at the red owl tavern, just closed up at 4:00 a.m., a hit with the extended hours looking to cash in on the thousand cents of people in town. now, while the wells fargo center has been the hub of all of the political action over the last few days, and of
course, that will be the case tonight, filling the afternoon and evening hours with politics, center city takes over, after hours, at places like the red owl tavern, open until 4:00 a.m., on special permit for hosting did the nc related events. now, some places like reading terminal market have yet to see the increase in business. but bars, hotels, and other venues, hosting delegates, politicians and media members, are seeing plenty wearing blue, while they are spending a lot of green. >> i want to make sure that we open our doors to all of the delegates in town, all of the people that are in town, make sure they have somewhere, not only to be, but also somewhere to go after quality event. as you can see, it is busy, moving, free energy, great vibes for dinner. >> reporter: lawmakers pull back some some of the state liquor laws to allow various venues holding dnc event to stay open little later so that they can party with the party, if you get that reference.

so just got to keep the eye on the sky, be prepared for thunderstorms that could happen. usually when they come through like that, though, pretty fast and furious. so, let's get to the seven day forecast, get you through the weekends, 92 degrees today, the heatwave ends as the convention ends, 82 degrees tomorrow. still have showers and thunderstorms in the forecast in the morning they are possible on friday. on saturday, and sunday, it stays a bit unsettled. still, casino every humid, especially saturday, with a high of 88, scatter storm possible sunday, so we get break on monday, just in time for the month of august to begin, and it will still be warm, but, a little less humid by then, bob kelly? >> 5:14, on this thursday morning, live look at i95, giving yourself some extra time, seen the biggest unusual traffic jam, come northbound, again, in the single lane formation, which is a little
different than what we've had the past couple of days two, lanes up to this point, and right now only one, so not sure if the cones have not been pick up and recycled here for the next rush hour. but, okay, this fellow turned around, the officers actually headlights were shining right into your forehead there, as you were headed north on 95. so, north 95, you got the lane restrictions there, approaching the airport, southbound the police check, same deal, approaching 676. no vehicles over 5 tons, so all of that extra volume pushed on to the vine, the schuylkill, between center city and university, no problems otherwise on the majors coming in from the suburbs, looking good on the schuylkill, and the blue route. unusual situation, here is the deal for today. we have concert, dnc related concert on the camden waterfront, starts at 1:00. so see a lot of unusual volume, leaving philly, going over the bridges of course, to the concert, keep eye to the

try to wrangle missing boa constrictor, finally found hiding in a bush, that had gotten away from its owner. here is a have i video. family saw the snake late tuesday night, as they brought their dog in from a walk. it was under their front porch. police came, but the snake then slithered away, then yesterday afternoon, neighbors on the look-out found the snake hiding in a bush, at the same home, on east jefferson street, then pulled it out. seamus mount is the owner was happy to finds his seven year old, 60 pounds snake, safe and sound. >> i made her a cage out of the closet. and he happened to escape in the middle of the night. she just went right out the window, i guess just wanted to get fresh air. >> oh, boy. police urge neighbors to keep their pets inside until that snake was found. even though it is not venamous, they say, it is legal to have a bow a constrictor as a pet in a home in paulsboro.

chris? >> all right, dave kinchen, thank you. time now 5:37. donald trump under fire this morning for calling on russia to find and publish hillary clinton's missing emails, 33,000 of them. us investigators suspect the russian government is behind the recent hack of dnc emails, some democrats speculate it was a deliberate attempt to help trump. yesterday, donald trump called the idea farfetched. but, urged russia to actually hack hillary clinton's private emails. russia, if you are listening, i hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing >> critics say trump officially urged foreign add vaux carry to commit cyber espy on age. the clinton campaign responded by saying this, this has gone from being a matter of curiosity and a matter of politics to being a national security issue. >> time now coming up on 5:39.
