had a couple people ask me if we are still under the strike wi m me to work. deal or no deal for you. >> let me muscle that over, lauren. >> reporter: until then, let me tell you about what is happening right now. this is septa concourse here at 30th street station. people copping off train right here, right now but a lot of frustration, a lot of people saying this is just too much in the last three or four days. here's what happened yesterday, a war of words, both sides hurling and sayses and still nothing. we still have headaches, frustration for these commuters. union president is accusing the septa poured chairman of not being completely honest with the public when he released a statement on wednesday. he was saying we should negotiate fairly. unions say they are not being fair they claim they would have taken homeless in their paychecks had they accepted the offer before the strike. core issue is money, limited which posts problems because union wants more money in their pensions, paychecks and then they have quality of life

issues that comes down to the downtown between shift, break times, money issues are dominating these discussions. either way passengers are the ones caught in the the middle of all of this. >> they have to do what they have to do can't blame for wanting a better contract but then we have to do what we have to do. we're making it work. >> it is crazy. trains are never on time. we have to wait like hours, so i brought this ipad so you can just do that while waiting for the train. >> septa is threatening an injunction. we heard would it happen yesterday. it never did. we are now entering day number four. i have two stories real quickly, mike and alex. one passenger i met said she takes three trains, two buses, wakes up at 5:00 a.m. to get to work at 10:00 a.m. another guy says from here he now has to walk an hurry to get to work. >> that is where election

go to jobs to say i i'm proud of what i do. that is philadelphia fire department. they have reason to be proud. they came in here and essentially brought two kid back to life. there was a fire. they don't know about any alarms. parents are downstairs. this is in prime time. parents don't even know that the upstairs is on fire and smoking badly. what happened? who knows. maybe there was a little boy playing with matches or accidental or whatever, again, not a cold night so you wouldn't think space heaters were involved. neighbors out here tell us that the parents come out, they are screaming frantically and they are looking at smoke coming from the windows. fire department gets in here within four minutes, gets in there and pulled two kid out and they are seeing the fire department guys giving these kid chest compressions and cpr. look at the video rough from the sky and air because it was so dark. this is a thin philadelphia street. advantage of the street, it is shellden street lots of good

neighbors who call 911 and real close to the fire house and roosevelt boulevard. department gets their big trucks down this thin streets, get in there puts this fire out within ten minutes. find out there is two kid upstairs. they will get in there risking their lives, and these two kids are critical. in the word of the adam tiehl, the commissioner, improving. >> during the course of the fire fight our fire fighters rescued two children. the those children were immediately transported and treated in route by philadelphia a fire department paramedics. they did an absolutely incredible job of treating them, both children were in critical condition when they were transported, one to einstein and one to st. christopher's. they remain in critical condition but they are improving. >> by the time the fire department got here, they asked us, they access ised the property and smoke just hit them. the whole top of the roof was like in flames. i'm like i'm hoping there was
