police say a d.c. officer shot his wife and turned the gun on himself. >> good evening. thanks for joining us. shots rang out. stephanie ramirez the couple leaves children behind. >> sullivan is a d.c. police officer with d.c. protect thive services. this is a force under the district department of general services tasked with protecting property that belongs to district of columbia. police tell me this is the person they believe shot and killed his newlywed wife before taking his own life. it started as an argument yesterday morning. we now know the couple's 4

determine how the boy died. above and beyond the call of duty. that's what is said about the two that helped capture the gun et ting suspect. the man highlighted in the lower right has a gun. he board of directorsed a green line train and got in a fight with other passengers. two employees tried to intervene. after a struggle, one held the suspect down while the other called for help. couldn't let him get away simply because what he could have done to me, my co worker, customers on the train. >> late this afternoon, metro presented pamela marrone with a certificate of valor. he's fighted as 25 -year-old tubs. he faces armed robs and carrying a pistol. bullets and blood were all too real. police shot and killed a suspect after an attempted robbery this

morning. chief kathy la near says employees and officers stopped the robbery. the suspects ran out if tv back door. one of the suspects opened fire on office and he is was killed. are police picked up the second suspect a few blocks away we could learn the identity of a man found dead in an overturned car off the parkway as early as tomorrow. sky 9 was over the vehicle. officer there is the department of natural resources got in the water and used a you bar to pry open the door. they believe it was in the water at least a day. a trooper shot and killed an armed car they want suspect this this morning. >> that happened 8:30 this morning. here's scott with the details. >> reporter: the man killed by a trooper here was driving an suv reported stolen from baltimore. a stolen gold lincoln navigator

with the driver dead on the ground next to it shot by a maryland state trooper. the gunfire after the suv rammed a police cruiser coming to assist. this in the parking lot of a sheets convenient store at east patrick in fredrick during the morning rush at 8:30. greg shiply said the lincoln was reported stolen last night. the suspect is flashed a gun. the shooper sotted the car and called for backup. the suspect is jumped behind the wheel and took off. the suv slammed into the fredrick police car coming into the parking lots. then gunfire as one trooper ended it. he heard one trooper shouting commands to the driver before the shooting. >> he gave commands four or five times. shotswere quick after that. >> the officer in the fredrick city police car was injured and taken to the hospital without

life threatening injuries. >> police recovered a large folding knife and drug paraphernalia from the suspect but have not identified him. boys accused of planning to target fellow students and teachers at river bend high school were in court today. one of the teen suspects was arrested two weeks ago t other friday. they allegedly made threats in text messages and online. students told administrators about the threat. the student resource officer got involved. an investigation was launched. >> in class friday he came and said all y'all better be careful friday. something is going down on monday. i guess that's what it was. >> today? >> everybody thought he was joking. we all knew he had problems. nobody thought he would have taken it that far. apparently he was willing. >> the common wealth attorney
